I purchased the bike in the fall of 2006 and has been garaged ever since only being caught in the rain on three occasions. I customized the bike according to a sport touring bike design that looks real cool and is comfortable and functional. I love the bike and never thought I would be selling it but my wife and I are in our late 50's and last year I bought a boat so the bike was only ridden 3 times. When I purchased the bike I had highway bars, the passenger backrest, and the sport windshield installed. The windshield is just the right height so you can clearly see over it and it deflects the wind right over your head. As I researched M109's I added many custom features for comfort and function. The bike was lowered 2 inches, the handle bars have 3 inch extensions, power commander with 2 into 1 side burner exhaust and tornado air intakes which greatly increased the horsepower and performance. Chrome 109r logo brake fluid cover. Chrome flames engine cover. Chrome drive shaft cover. Chrome backrest with luggage shelf. Chrome foot boards. Chrome side mount license plate bracket. Chrome 12v adapter and bracket. Chrome gps bracket and Garmin nuvi 1450 gps. The tail bracket was removed and an integrated clear tail light with yellow signals. I have the fiberglass rear sport cover if you remove the backrest and seat. The wheels have black painted accents and aluminum spikes. The exhaust is very unique in that it can sound like a rice rocket on steroids or as throaty as a Harley with straight pipes. This bike can be extremely loud and depending on how you punch the throttle can be fairly quiet. The bike is fun to ride and has loads of torque and speed for a heavy sport cruiser and needs to be respected as such. The bike was well maintained by myself and New England Cycle Sales. Late last year I replaced the in tank fuel filter, battery, plugs and had the power commander remapped. I also added a fiberglass chin fairing. The front tire is an over sized Metzeler 150 and the rear tire a new 240 Metzeler. This week I gave it an oil change. When the bike sells it will be greatly missed. Good luck. Please feel free to email me with any questions.
