I have a 02 GSXR 1000 that has 36310 miles on it. I have owned this for the last year, I am selling this because I am having surgery on my hands and I cannot ride this summer. Here is what is done to it. GSXR rear tail lights and rear fairing cowl CLEAN TITLE New seat, also have rear seat along with rear cover that is on it in the pics. Brand new USA made chain and sprocket. (I took the 530 conversion kit off) Valves all in spec, did the work myself I am a cert mech. Valves are good for 12,000 miles before next checkup. Good tires, Summer life left. Custom Jet Black paint job. K and N air filter. Yoshirmira Exhaust. Hidden blinkers. New engine oil, clutch fluid, brake fluid. New front brake pads. New fuel pump and filter. Gas tank has been Kreemed. This means that rust can never form in the tank. This bike does have some minor issues, the air ducts were due to improper tie down while moving it on a trailer, I have a pic of me pointing at the crack. Missing one fairing bolt. This bike has been laid down at a slow speed by a previous owner the damage is only seen on the muffler, timing cover and a small dent that is hidden by the fairing. The paint looks great, it is gloss jet black. This bike looks great for 36,000 miles. It rides smooth and straight at high speeds. Mechanical issues have arisen after sitting all winter in the garage. Missing one faring bolt. Front left blinker burned out. Has been laid down at a very low speed the only damage is to the muffler and timing cover and a very small dent in the frame that the fairing covers up, crack in the plastic air intake tube, I have pics of all these. Mechanical issues is a fuel delivery problem, the bike does not start until the second or third try, like its not getting enough fuel. When you drive it down the road is will boggs out ONLY AT FULL THROTTLE. Once the bike warms up it will start right back up when shut off. The bike runs great once it is started and running for a few seconds. The bike runs great through all the gears at any throttle position besides FULL THROTTLE. The bike is still very fast and will still go as fast as you dare. I honestly believe it is a fuel delivery problem or an air leak in the system. I have an extra throttle body set and fuel injectors, used 530 vortex sprocket kit, and a hard back Haynes GSXR Tear down and resemble manual I will throw in for free.
