I started the bike for a few seconds. Two of the carbs do not have fuel in the bowl, so I suspect the floats are stuck. The other two did and that was enough for it to fire. There were no unusual sounds. It sounded like a V4 should. I would not want to fire it again unless the carbs were properly cleaned and adjusted. The inside of the gas tank looks good. The odometer reads 40,403. miles. The brake and clutch master cylinder sight glasses are fogged and the plastic is soft. I am the guy on Ebay that professionally installs solid thick glass, sight glasses, so I would be willing to offer free service on those two master cylinders. The brakes are working as well as the clutch. The lights all work but I had to clean the kickstand safety switch and the starter switch since the contacts were corroded.Tires look pretty new, but age is unknown. Very little rust and what is there is surface and from condensation. The previous owner kept it covered but outside.Cosmetically, it needs cleaning and polishing. No dents in the gas tank but the paint is dulled from sloppy gas filling. It might be able to be buffed out with a polishing compound. The seats have no tears and feel soft. There are some small rust spots on the upper forks that look like they will polish out and the same goes for the front fender. The left side cover emblem or decorative plate has some denting but the other side is fine. I am sure it could be straightened without too much effort. Keep in mind that this is a 29 year old bike and it is not perfect but with some work, could be a nice bike again. I would like to see the bike go to someone that would bring it back since it is a very rare V4 that was only made for two years, 85 and 86. The original owner's manual and two sets of keys go with it.
