This is a nicely done gsxr 1000. Has stupid money in it. Has a polished frame, chrome everything, full Yoshi exhaust, power commander, air horn. Well over 5k into it in just extras. Has under 7k original miles. I am the second owner, clean title in hand. This bike has been adult owned and babied its whole life. It runs perfect, pulls hard through all the gears, stops the way it should. Its a 9/10 cosmetically has slight imperfections and I mean slight. Has never been dropped, not even in the driveway. The only thing it needs is a set of tires, they are the originals, and the rims both have a crease on the one side lip, hit a pothole and you know how easy they bend, doesn't affect the ride and can be repaired easily if it bothers you when you do the tires, You see less and less of these first gen 1000s, Its my personal favorite, so comfortable and can hang with any of the new bikes. This is my personal bike, I am listing it buy it now or best offer, I am slightly negotiable. I'm not looking for the kid who wants his first 1000 for cheap, I'm looking for someone like me who specifically wants a first gen gsxr1000 and knows all the money and time it took to get the bike to this point. I'm asking less than what the upgrades cost. The reason I am selling is to buy a busa, I am just over 6 and a half feet tall and fit better on the busa. If it doesn't sell, I will gladly keep it. Up for auction is a solid running 2004 Gsxr-1000. 24k miles, which is nothing for a 1000, I see them with 70-100k. Has plenty of life left. This is a very very fast machine, not for beginners, its amazing these are even street legal! This particular bike, starts up, runs, shifts and stops excellent. Has newer tires, good fork seals, strong battery. I do have the matching back seat and passenger foot pegs. Its in turn key condition. It has a shorty straight pipe on it, it is extremely loud. The fairings are in good condition, no cracks or deep scratches. The paint is nice and was professionally done. The only issue I found was you have to jiggle the ignition key a little to turn it, common on older bikes, I shot it with some wd40 and it wasn't that bad. Up for auction here is a nice 2004 gsxr 600, it has many good parts. NO TITLE , NEEDS TO BE REWIRED TO RUN. The reason it has no title is it originally came from a police auction as an impound, the guy I got it from bought it years ago and lost the paperwork, I ran a vincheck and its clear. It doesn't run because he was trying to put a power commander in and didn't know how to hook it up so it either needs to be hooked up right or may need a new harness. It comes with the power commander 3. The engine is not seized and I was told it ran but never heard it so I cant tell you how it will run. It is a repaint but its a nice repaint, fairings are in good shape, forks are nice and straight, seals are good. I don't know how many miles are on it because when you turn the key nothing happens.
