The most expensive Japanese sportsbike available at the time, the 1986 Suzuki GSX-R 750R Limited Edition was a solid 60 pounds lighter than the competition. Because of that, lots of these bikes went straight to the track, making them few and far between in this condition. Only 199 exported to USA, and a total production worldwide of 1000.This bike is an amazing piece of history, absolutely gorgeous and has been in my collection for some time. I have rode this bike sparingly over the past years but have maintained it both mechanically and cosmetically in a temperature controlled environment. Cosmetically, the bike is in excellent condition with the exception of a very, very small soft dimple in the right hand upper rear corner of the tank that a good PDR tank man could take care of but in my neck of the woods there are none. All original equipment to best of my knowledge, but will let you be the judge. The bike has approximately 4900 miles on the clock, only accessory is a original Lockhart and Phillips GSX-R tank bra. Mechanically the bike is "spot on" (just tuned) but you may want to do some fine tuning as well as set the bike up to accomadate you personally, or simple admire for what it is, and will be in the future. One fork seal starting to slightly weep, and if you planning on riding I would suggest new tires as these are getting on in years. I am not going into the history or the desirability of this particular model. It is generally well known by any student of the early superbikes that maybe interested in this bike. And if not, there is considerable information available on-line or from knowledgable resources. Also for some, what it is, and is not as far as originality will be a subject of debate, I personally do not regard myself as a expert so I have attempted to display the bike in the best way I can by removing the plastics. All in all, I personally feel it a very nice example in comparison to the limited number sales I have monitored in the past. The bike has a clear Oklahoma title, and a "Bill of Sale" will be supplied if desired. The bike is offered "As Is" with no warranty expressed or implied. The bike will be available for inspection, but no "test rides" without cash in hand. I am retired will help you or your shipper to pickup the bike in a timely manner. I can store the bike for a resonable time (paid full) if shipping is delayed for some time. But the new owner should aquire insurance as I will no longer will be responsible. Bike nor title will not be released until all funds are cleared. Additional pictures are available or if need a picture of specific nature I will glade to provide. It has been three decades, with more than a million editions sold, since the GSX-R line was born. And a decade and a half has elapsed since the first GSX-R1000 transformed the open sportbike class forever. Now, the 2017 GSX-R1000 is redefining what it means to be The King of Sportbikes. This motorcycle's chassis forms the lightest, the most compact, the most aerodynamic and the best-handling GSX-R1000 ever. Cradled in the new aluminum frame is an all-new engine that uses an exclusive Variable Valve Timing and Ride-by-Wire throttle bodies for a wide spread of power while delivering smooth and precise throttle response. Using an Inertial Measuring Unit (IMU) the GSX-R1000's advanced electronics package includes selectable performance modes so the motorcycle enhances and fine tunes rider inputs. The six-axis IMU lets the GSX-R1000 recognize its position on the street or race track to help the rider achieve an extraordinary level of riding performance. Up front, new style BREMBO T-drive brake rotors grasped by Monobloc calipers provide strong, controlled braking, while the precise and smooth SHOWA suspension keeps the sticky Bridgestone RS10 tires in touch with the road. All of this forward-looking motorcycle technology is covered in all-new, wind tunnel-developed bodywork that's uniquely GSX-R. The King of Sportbikes is back, bow to the King. All new 999.8cc liquid-cooled DOHC inline-four cylinder engine produces exceptionally high top-end power without sacrificing low to mid-range power thanks to a Variable Valve Timing (VVT) system, Ride-by-Wire Throttle Bodies and more. Using MotoGP knowledge, Suzuki has fitted an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) on the new GSX-R1000. The IMU provides six direction, three axis motion and position information to the ECM so instantaneous adjustments can be made electronically to the engine and chassis components that influence performance. The new and exclusive ten-mode, Motion Track Traction Control System (MT-TCS), with IMU influence, increases rider confidence by allowing adjustments to amount of intervention to match riding ability and surface conditions. Advanced suspension uses a SHOWA BPF fork and rear shock that combine with new BREMBO T-drive 320mm dual front brake rotors and Monobloc 4-piston calipers for extraordinary handling and stopping performance. A new version of the three mode, Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) system lets the rider select the power output levels of the engine to match riding ability and conditions. The new LCD Multi-function Instrument Panel was inspired by the GSX-RR MotoGP dash. This panel is laid out so the rider can easily see the tachometer bar, speedometer digits, and other essential operational information. This effective display is critical as it is the rider's interface to the GSX-R1000's advanced electronics. New design, twin-spar type aluminum frame is 10% lighter and more compact, with optimized rigidity for nimble handling and a high level of grip when cornering.

The Suzuki GSX-R600 is a class-leading sport bike worthy of its race-winning GSX-R heritage. Whether you're carving through your favorite canyon or dominating the racetrack, it offers unparalleled performance. A compact, powerful 4-cylinder engine demonstrates the advanced race-proven technology of the GSX-R line when you hit the throttle and push it to redline, while supremely refined suspension systems front and rear help provide precise, responsive handling. Wrapped in aerodynamic and lightweight bodywork that's lifted from the race track, the GSX-R600 can not only win races, it can win envy. Compact 599cc 4-cylinder engine with a race-proven over-square bore/stroke ratio that produces remarkably strong high RPM power delivery. The energy efficient engine employs forged pistons, shot-peened connecting rods, chrome-nitride-coated upper compression and oil control rings, and pentagonal ventilation holes to reduce frictional and mechanical losses. Camshafts with aggressive valve-lift profiles were developed using proven MotoGP racing engine technology – the first time this method has been applied to a production Suzuki. Lightweight titanium-alloy valves are controlled by single coil valve springs to reduce valve train mass, reducing mechanical losses at high RPM. Lightweight and durable forged pistons were designed using the same Finite Element Method and fatigue analysis technology used for MotoGP racing engines. Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve fuel injection uses eight, fine-spray 8-hole injectors for improved fuel atomization, which contributes to more complete combustion. Suzuki Drive Mode Selector offers push-button selection of two racing-developed engine control maps to suit road or track conditions, and personal tastes. 4-into-1 stainless-steel exhaust system with a titanium muffler is fitted with a Suzuki Exhaust Tuning valve that maximizes torque and improves throttle response, especially in the low-to-mid RPM range. The close-ratio six-speed transmission features a taller first-gear ratio and shorter ratios for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th gear, making it easier for a racer to get a good start while improving straight-line acceleration and drive out of corners. Race-developed, lightweight SHOWA Big Piston front Forks (BPF) deliver superb feedback and consistent performance. Spring preload, rebound and compression damping are all fully adjustable. Front brakes with fully floating 310mm discs are grasped by radial-mount, four-piston BREMBO monobloc calipers. Three-way adjustable footpegs, adjustable shift lever and short fuel tank help compose a comfortable riding position that permits the positions required for performance riding. Electronically controlled steering damper provides lighter steering at slower speeds and more damping force.

Three decades ago Suzuki revolutionized sport bikes with the introduction of the GSX-R750. Ever since then, the GSX-R750 has remained true to its original concept and championship-winning heritage. On the road or on the track, the GSX-R750 delivers a breathtaking combination of outstanding engine performance, crisp handling, compact size and light weight. Its secret is an unequaled pairing of 750cc performance with the lightweight, compact chassis of a 600cc Supersport, complemented by technologically advanced suspension front and rear. Try a GSX-R750 and you'll quickly realize this motorcycle defines performance riding from the center of the sportbike class. Compact 750cc 4-cylinder engine with a race-proven over-square bore/stroke ratio that produces remarkably strong high RPM power delivery. The energy efficient engine employs forged pistons, shot-peened connecting rods, chrome-nitride-coated upper compression and oil control rings, and pentagonal ventilation holes to reduce frictional and mechanical losses. Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve fuel injection uses eight, fine-spray 8-hole injectors for improved fuel atomization, which contributes to more complete combustion. An Engine Control Module provides state-of-the-art engine management and has enhanced settings to suit the intake and exhaust systems, resulting in better fuel economy and linear throttle response. Advanced, MotoGP-developed transistorized ignition control programming helps maintain more precise spark timing across the range of engine speed and temperature range. Race-proven back-torque-limiting clutch contributes to smoother downshifting and corner entry. Race-developed, lightweight SHOWA Big Piston front Forks (BPF) deliver superb feedback and consistent performance. Spring preload, rebound and compression damping are all fully adjustable. Single SHOWA rear shock features externally adjustable rebound and compression damping, along with adjustable ride height. Front brakes with fully floating 310mm discs are grasped by radial-mount, four-piston BREMBO monobloc calipers. Electronically controlled steering damper provides lighter steering at slower speeds and more damping force at racetrack and highway speeds. Three-way adjustable footpegs, adjustable shift lever and short fuel tank help compose a comfortable riding position that permits the positions required for performance riding.

Here are the aftermarket mods: -Yoshimura TRC stainless steel slip on exhaust -K&N air filter (just cleaned and recharged by dealer) -Mid pipe (no cat) -Driven sprockets and red chain -HID low beam kit -Red levers -Red grips -Beveled red emblems -Carbon fiber Hydrographics tail section (just added) -Starlane GPS lap timer -Woodcraft frame sliders -Woodcraft bar end sliders -LED smoked tail light w/ integrated turn signals -Smoked turn signal mirrors -Custom made seat with "R" logo -Galfer stainless steel brake lines The title is rebuilt. We bought this bike at a salvage auction and brought her back to life with new fairings. When we bought the bike, the damage was all cosmetic. I have never had any problems with the bike mechanically. I just serviced the bike at Oklahoma Honda Suzuki. Tag is good until next February. I'm selling this bike because I want a bigger bike for touring. I have enjoyed every second of riding this bike, but I am ready to try something different. She runs great and has plenty of power. $5,000. I just dropped the price. (405) 808-3375
