2011 Suzuki GSX-R 750, After years of gentle evolution Suzuki has gone to town on its 2011 GSX-R750. Weighing in at 190kg, fully-fuelled and ready to go, it s a massive 8kg lighter than the old model, giving the 148bhp GSX-R750 a mouth-watering power-to-weight ratio. The 750 s rolling chassis and bodywork is completely new, but it doesn t get the GSX-R600 s radical engine overhaul and the resulting 1kg extra weight reduction. Aside from minor revisions to make it breath more easily, the 750 s motor is essentially the same as before, but it now promises to spin up faster and make more low and midrange power. Suzuki claims it s 10% more fuel efficient too. It still has the perfect mix of power and handling, but thanks to the lighter weight, acceleration is now more towards a superbike than a 600. It doesn t have the new close-ratio gearbox fitted in the 600, so feels longer-legged in the higher gears on track, but will it will make for a less frantic machine on the road. It s fun, fast and handles beautifully, but crucially it s very easy to ride fast, unlike a bigger sportsbike. Pound-for-pound we reckon it s one of the best sportsbikes you can buy.

2013 Suzuki GSX-R1000 1 Million Commemorative Edition, Financing is available. Come check out KC's largest selection of pre-owned bikes. We got you covered! 2013 Suzuki® GSX-R1000 1 Million Commemorative Edition As Suzuki celebrated 60 years of motorcycle production in 2012, the one millionth GSX-R rolled off the production line too. Both of these feats are only possible thanks to the on-going and continued support from Suzuki fan, racers, and dealers worldwide. To acknowledge this important milestone, Suzuki brings GSX-R1000 1 million Commemorative edition for the 2013 model year. This special equipped production model will be limited to 1,985 units worldwide, taken after 1985, when GSX-R series was introduced and completely redefined the definition of a sport bike. Taking the market by storm, the GSX-R delivered new levels of performance and agility, quickly dominating both the roads and racetracks of the world. Features May Include Gsx-R 1 Million Commemorative Edition The Special Edition GSX-R will feature Commemorative graphics celebrating the first GSX-R produced in 1985. Engine A 999cc four-cylinder powerplant, with Bore x Stroke of 74.5mm x 57.3mm brings enhanced throttle response across the entire rpm range and high potential for racetrack performance. Lightweight, durable forged pistons are designed with the Finite Element Method (FEM) and fatigue analysis technology and optimized camshaft profiles was developed using proven MotoGP racing technology. Optimally shaped combustion chambers and a compression ratio of 12.9:1 promote low-range and mid-range performance and help realize a broad torque curve. 12-hole fuel injectors produce a fine fuel mist for more complete combustion, reducing fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. Pentagonal shaped ventilation holes in the side of each cylinder bore reduce pumping losses, further improving throttle response. The shape of the ventilation holes - wider at the top, narrower at the bottom - matches the actual flow of the trapped air, reducing pumping losses due to internal crankcase air-pressure resistance to downward piston movement. Transmission A six-speed close-ratio transmission. Race-proven back-torque-limiting clutch contributes to smoother downshifting and corner entry. Chassis A lightweight and compact twin-spar frame is made of five cast sections. It is mated with an arched swingarm made of three castings and one-piece die-cast rear subframe. The compact engine allows a longer swingarm and shorter overall wheelbase for improved racetrack performance. Lightweight, fully adjustable 43mm Showa Big Piston Front forks (BPF) with an endurance-race-proven design deliver superb feedback and responsive, stable operation, and are lightweight. Rear shock absorber features adjustable rebound damping, spring preload, and both high-speed and low-speed compression damping al
