This is a great beginner's bike for anyone starting off in the world of motorcycles. It looks like a sports bike but rides like a standard. It is light weight that even a guy like me can pick it up (I don't even lift bro). Its also not too high off the ground and fits me perfectly at 5'8". It is fast enough so that you can travel on the highway without a problem. You can also take a pillion on it comfortably. It only has 11,XXX miles and has been well maintained. I've just changed the front and rear brake fluid and pads as well as an oil and oil filter change just yesterday. I am usually able to get 55-60 mpg out of it and the tank is large so you can get 200 miles on around $15. 1982 Suzuki Gs 650, I am offering up for sale my newly built Suzuki GS CAFE bike. This bike started out life as a GS650GLz model. It has been well maintained through the years. It still has low miles on the bike and recently had the valves shimmed. The exhaust was just replaced with a 4 - 1 header and megaphone tailpipe. The carbs have been jetted with a stage 3 kit and K&N filters help it breathe. To top it off all of the ignition system was upgraded to Dyna - S with, Dyna Coils and wires. This makes for a very smooth and reliable ride for an old bike. You better hang on! To create the CAFE look a rear hoop was added as well as a custom fiberglass rear seat. All of the wiring was routed under the seat for a clean look. While working on the wiring all of the wires were cleaned and re-raped and several wiring upgrades have been performed. None of the original functionality has been sacrificed in this build. The rear brake switch, gear indicator, fuel gauge all still work. All of the light on the bike have been upgraded with LEDs including the expensive headlight. Wow does it make a difference! The cockpit also got an upgrade with flat bars and ISO grips, and a custom bar end mirror. The gear indicators now live in the bar clamp and an Acewell gage was added. All of the intended functionality of the gage is working RPM, Speed, Fuel, Etc. This makes for a very clean look. The wheels have been painted black and they look clean. The tank has been modified with knee dents. The tank has been fully Tig welded and Red coated for a clean (leak free) look. The front fender has been shortened and both have been painted flat black. The rear control have also been upgraded with black anodized billet aluminum units custom mounted further back to help with the laid over feel of a CAFE bike. Both front and rear brake lines have been upgraded with SS braided units, and the rear shocks have been replace with Ohlin look-a-likes. This bike is low, light and fast, and a real joy to ride. Perfect beginner bike and has enough of the power. There are some scratches on the side but not even noticeable. The turn signal is slightly bent back but is easily fixable and also is not even noticeable. I put a few mods on the bike; I installed a new LED tail light that has integrated turn signals, new windscreen that is smoked and taller, and I also installed new clutch and brake levers. I keep it garaged and has about 13,808 miles and will continue to slowly rise as I do still occasionally ride this bike still. Like I said, great beginner bike, highly customizable, and a lot of information online about maitnance and cool things to do with it. Great low price for a beginner bike, only owned for about a year and sadly have to sell since I want to get a different style since I got my experience.
