1982 Suzuki Red Suzuki GS550 model GS, body type RS. Needs work. Ran well the last time I ran it 5 yr ago, although it always did run hot. Handlebars bent, broken lights. Some dents. One piece of plastic missing from side, and speedometer plastic cover is broken. Nice new seat - I just had it re-apolstered. TITLE CLEAN, though recently made non-operational. Spouse wants it out of garage asap. I will miss it. $250.00

HELLO! THIS ALL ORIGINAL 1979 SUZUKI GS550E, WAS JUST PURCHASED FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER. THE ORIGINAL OWNER CARED AND PRESERVED THE BIKE FOR ALMOST 40 YEARS. THE BIKE COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL TITLE, SHOWING 1 MILE, THE ORIGINAL KEY AND ORIGINAL TOOL KIT. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL TITLE AND A BILL OF SALE, READY FOR THE NEW OWNERS INFORMATION AS A BUYER! THE BIKE SAT NOT USED SINCE THE DATE CODED TIRES, 1998! THE BIKE SAT NOT USED FOR APPROX. 20 YEARS. THE THROTTLE DOES NOT WORK, YOU NEED TO CLEAN THE CARBURETORS FOR THE BIKE TO START. THE ENGINE TURNS OVER FINE . ENGINE TURNS OVER WITH THE KICKER! YOULL NEED TO PURCHASE THE USUAL, BATTERY, PLUGS, CHANGE THE OIL ETC. THE BIKE IS A ONE OWNER MACHINE. THE FACTORY ORIGINAL PAINT IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION, HAVING ONLY A FEW MINOR BLEMS. THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE GAS TANK, I CLEARLY SHOW TWO PAINT CHIPS, ABOUT THE SIZE OF A QUARTER. THESE ARE PAINT CHIPS ONLY. THIS IS A D.I.Y. REPAIR, SIMPLE WITH SOME PRIMER AND GLOSS BLACK. THE GAS TANK HAS ONE DING ON THE TOP. For sale a 1981 Suzuki GS550T. This is a wonderful first motorcycle for someone or, with a little bit of work, it could become a great bike for years to come. Since I've owed this bike I have done much of the work on it that should have been done by the previous owner, including: new tires, new battery, new chain, rebuilt the carburetor, new rubber intake boots, switched to electronic ignition, all the various lights are new, replaced the regulator rectifier with a more reliable Honda model, wired in a switch to bypass the old ignition wiring, new plugs, new throttle cable, new clutch cable, new choke cable, rebuilt the fuel pet cock, and of course, I have changed the oil and filter every year I have owned it. I have also, for every time I take out one of the Japanese phillips bolts, I've replaced it with a brand new stainless steel hex bolt. Currently, the bike runs very strong while it is running, however, it can be a little difficult to start at times. I believe it needs a tune up. You will also note in one of the pictures that there is some electrical tape on the front master cylinder reservoir. That was on it when I got it, and the bike has stopped incredibly well since I've had it, so I decided to leave well enough alone. I also have the left side cover, it just needs to be glued back together. Additionally, you will notice the safety bars on the front of the bike, which protect the engine in the event of laying the bike down or getting it knocked over. This bike is very much fun to drive, it can rev really high, but at the same time it can be a pleasant and quiet bike in the city at the low revs. If you have questions or need more pictures, feel free to contact me.

1978 Suzuki GS550 with 24,xxx miles. Missing the left side cover, front tire is worn and will need replaced, rear tire is great. There are some holes toward the rear of the mufflers but the bike sounds good. The seat has separated at the seam (see pictures). The ignition key does not match the seat and fuel cap key-I had to put a new ignition switch in. With the bad said, the bike runs great, look good too. Has a New Battery. Has Electric start and kick start. It is a nice clean bike, but not perfect. Tank is clean inside. I hate to sell such a nice clean classic, but I have way too many bikes and need to get rid of a few to raise the funds for some projects. This would be a great bike to get and ride or do a café racer. I have a clear title in my name. I can store the bike for up to 30 days for you to arrange shipping or pickup, but it must be paid for within 7 days of purchase-cash upon pickup or mail a money order or cashiers check. Have a super clean 1982 GS550L only has 4952 miles on bike all original have all books that came with bike runs great good tires everything works on bike no rust or dents on bike has couple little scratches on tank has windshield and hard shell luggage rack on back comes with two black half helmets and cover but that's not in good condition but good enough to keep dust off in garage as you can see in pictures it's been kept indoors all its life nice little near mint bike being sold as is condition
