Bought this S40 a few years ago (used) for a new rider. Has only been ridden 5 times, and mostly to keep the engine in good shape. Has new battery, been on battery tender, stored inside. Good tires, goood body work, no wrecks or damage. Does look like somebody stored it outside for some time and has a bit of corrosion on left engine case. Pull out the choke, hit the starter, and off she goes. A GREAT bike for the price. Good breaks, nice ride, very smooth single. If I didn't have 2 other bikes, I'd likely just keep it. But would be better for a rider that can use it. 6,135 miles. Not for riders over 6'.But a great bike to ride, very fun, very easy to drive. I don't want to call it a starter bike, but it would be good for starters. Would be great for commuters, students, Sunday drives.
