This is the first bike I ever bought and learned to ride on. It had about 36k miles when I bought it and I put quite a few more on it since then. I primarily commuted to work and back - 45 miles round trip. I made one trip to Wilmington, NC which was probably the moment I fell in love with riding. It's a great ride and is comfortable with highway pegs already installed. I've also got an official Clymer troubleshooting and maintenance manual but seeing as these bikes are pretty much indestructible you probably won't need it.
