I hate to do it, but the time has come to sell my 1999 Bandit 1200. This was one of the first bikes I rode after getting my license and, after purchasing it from a college buddy, has been with me around the US during my time in the Army. Unfortunately I don't ride it much as my new job requires me to lug a bunch of stuff around and I need something with four wheels.I have spent over $6500 on this bike in the last few years and the number of mods is too many to list. In short, I tore it down to the frame, powder-coated it, installed a post oil-issue motor from a 2004 Mk2 Bandit 1250, and completely rebuilt the suspension. It needs a new plate holder and one weld fixed on the custom ramp but is roadworthy with two new tires with ~300 miles on them. The bike just had a tune up four months ago and runs great.
2009 Suzuki Bandit 1250S Well maintained. 8285 original miles. New Michelin Pilot Road 3 tires at 7000 miles. Power Commander III fuel mapping and Dale Walker Holeshot muffler. Zero Gravity windscreen. Oil and filter changed every 3000 miles. Clean and clear Texas title. This bike has some minor slide damage to the body work and the crankcase on the left side only.
