Very Clean Original bike. I purchased the bike with the intent to keep it as a collectors but have other projects that I can use the funds towards. I purchased it from the second owner. Has some cracks in the left side panel. The head gasket is wet but does not drip oil and hasn't become worse at all in the few miles I have put on the bike. Fires up and runs excellent. New tires installed a year ago. Amazing condition for the year. I hold a clean clear Montana Title on hand. I have seen several of these bikes for sale recently for less money but none have been this clean and/or original. I don't have to sell it but If I can get my price I will. Please review the pictures, they say more than I can. Please call with further questions at 951-531-7068. I can send a video of the bike running to your email or phone. Local buyers can view the bike in person. Buyer is responsible for shipping. This is an "as is" sale, no returns or refunds. If paying with a check, money order, paypal, Bike will be realeased 5 days after payment clears my account to avoid scams.

So I purchased this bike in an estate sale with other bikes and parts. The sellers told me that their father bought the bike in the late 1980s and built the bike through the 90s but was an ongoing project. We installed a new battery and put fresh fuel in it and It fired up but bogged/died at idle. So after cleaning all 6 carbs It runs and idles now but needs tuning (carbs synced). The exhaust note is extremely loud (and unique) with these short pipes! The bike rides good but I didn't want to be too aggressive without the carbs tuned correctly. The frame is custom and has had all the welds smoothed out. Due to this there are no stamped numbers on the neck, just the vin plate and a custom plate that have been stuck on with double backed tape. I have a clean CA title issued in 1990 on hand but it has fallen out of the CA dmv system. The bikes vin # on the tag, motor # and plate # all match the title. I do not know the original miles on the bike, there is a odo in the box of spare parts that has 16k miles but I have no way of knowing if that's the original. Also including a set of longer pipes with brackets that are unfinished. Please review the pictures, they say more than I can. The bike has had a lot of time put into it. Please call with further questions at 951-531-7068. I can send a video of the bike running to your email or phone. Local buyers can view the bike in person. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Here is an extremely rare fully restored matching #s 1953 6T thunder bird. Originally this bike was a "Blackbird" but was painted in the traditional Triumph T100 silver. I acquired this triumph in a trade about 6 months ago. I am not a triumph expert and don't know much about these early models so I will give my best description and try to answer any questions as accurately as possible. When I first acquired the bike it would start right up within 1-2 kicks and run/idle/accelerate excellent. Due to life circumstances I have not started it until recently and after siting for 4+ months the fuel went bad. I drained the gas tank and refilled it with fresh fuel. I also took the carb out and separated the float from the carb and sprayed everything out with cleaner but I didn't want to completely disassemble the carb and mess with the settings. After doing this It still pops and wont idle......kinda shows my mechanical expertise on these older style carbs. I hate to advertise a bike that isnt running great but I figure that its better than messing it up more. I was told that these are the reproduction parts: both fenders, ride-away stand, carb (still an amal), and a few other small items. And I was told that the Engine components, Frame, rims, suspension, tanks, bars, and nacell are all original parts. I hold a free and clear CA title in hand and titled in my name.
