This bike has roughly thirteen-HUNDRED (1,300) original miles. It is super clean and runs like a new bike (very strong). Triumph and Kawasaki introduced retro 60's Bonneville styling into their lineups at the same time and virtually EVERY magazine that did a comparison stated that Kawasaki had come much closer to the original with the W 650 than Triumph. I can't tell you how many people mistake this bike for a mint-restoration Bonneville at first sight (including me when I first laid eyes on one in 2000). It rides like a 60's Bonneville, it sits like a 60's Bonneville, it even sounds like a 60's Bonneville, it just doesn't leak oil like the older Brit bikes did. As you can see by the photos it is a pretty, deep green metallic and cream livery, with chrome fenders and pipes.

2000 Suzuki Bandit , If you aren't familiar with the Bandit, it's one of the all time great modern "UJMs" or Universal Japanese Motorcycle. It's a do it all kind of machine: sport riding, commuting, long distance. The air/oil cooled 4 cylinder is based on the classic GSXr1100 from the 80s. That means it's rock solid, reliable, and easy to maintain. The rest of the bike is mostly borrowed from the Katana, minus that bike's full fairings and low handlebars. I purchased this bike 12 years ago from the original owner with about 1500 miles on it. I've done all the regular maintenance myself, including oil changes with oil Spectro Golden or Repsol, brake fluid changes, and regular valve adjustments. Features: -odo reads 31k (actually slightly lower due to altered gearing) -new brake pads front and rear -rebuilt rear caliper -new rear tire (Avon Storm) -Zero Gravity double bubble screen (2 stock screens included) -custom passenger backrest (stock grab bar included) -heated grips -original tool kit and manual -Chilton service manual -Custom 3 stage pearlescent paint "Champaign White" this is not some cheap rattle can job, it's top quality DuPont Chromabase paint and clear. -LED signals (with proper solid state flasher relay upgrade) -brand new battery (2 months old) -Dale Walker Holeshot exhaust and jetting. (not too loud but sounds great when tach'ed out) This is a great bike for the money. Perfect first bike: fast but un-intimidating for someone who is comfortable with the basics. Or a great upgrade from a 250 or 500 class machine. It has some scratches from luggage but other than that is a great looking bike. Compares to FZ-7, FZ-6, SV650, Ninja 650, gs500. $1,750.00
