2001 Yamaha Fz1 , This is an original adult-owned standard motorcycle used as a commuter to work, never been raced, tracked or abused. Very comfortable and powerful street bike, with comfortable ergonomics and good mirrors. Several modifications include a lowered handlebar, taller windscreen and Akrapovic slip-on exhaust. Other bike features are a good size fairing with fuel gauge (takes approx 4 gallons) and clock. No fuel filler switch, fuel system rebuilt recently. First generation FZ1's shared it's 1-liter carburetor motor and brakes with the same-era R1. After a short warm-up, runs strong on back roads, highway and in traffic.Bike has a current Virginia safety inspection This motorcycle has lived most of it's life inside or under cover and on a trickle charger. Chain in great shape, and lots of tread left on the tires. Included in sale is original exhaust, windscreen, and bike cover. Several scratches / bumps worthy of a well-used street bike, and would make a fine commuter or weekend rider. Motivated seller would like to get this bike to someone who will use it regularly.
