I went from a dresser to a softail and built a beautiful touring bike out of it. But it didn't help because I can't keep it up safely because of bad legs and shoulders. Over $20,000 out the door, saddle bags, mounting kit, fairing, high quality paint on the bags and fairing to match. Cams, exhaust and screaming eagle air filter make it run great. Dyno tuned. Set up for great torque when needing to pass on freeways. 2014 and later saddlebags meaning I had to switch to Softail Deluxe type turn signals. Was going to do front signals to match, about the last thing I was going to do to it. Super good running bike, cruise control on the 2016 heritage. 2006 seat because the 2016 seat had a big skirt that caused a little problem opening the saddlebag latch which is the reason I went with the new saddle bags. The seat was on my 2006 FLST and never got me sore but the 2016 seat was not as comfortable at all. I leave the rear seat off and took the passenger pegs off so I can't endanger someone else. They will go with the bike. Just 2,450 miles on the bike right now, but I will put a few short rides on it. Price is firm.
