RARE Candy Apple Red Kawasaki Concours 2003! The bike is in excellent condition with no scratches, cracks, or scrapes. Looks and runs like new with new NGK Iridium spark plugs, K&N air filter, ICE radiator fluid, and new front & back tires. Included are the hard cases with fitted canvas Kawasaki branded carry bag inserts and the OEM backrest ( not pictured above), Clymer book on all things Concours, and original Owner's Manual and tool bag. You also get the OEM side panels (pictured above) that cover the hard case bag holders. Does have the handle-bar risers, as well. Has a cigarette-lighter style power outlet installed in the right-hand side storage compartment for powering cell phones, GPS, or emergency light. Also, had installed for safety reasons an electronic box for the break light that allows it to flash repeatedly while either the hand or foot brake is pressed. Works very well in waking up sleepy car drivers during the day and separates my tail light from cars at night. Backstory: Purchased the bike with the dream of riding across America with a college buddy. We both had bikes while attending the same college. However, it is now three years later and the dream has pretty much died. My buddy moved to Boston for a new job last month. No worries, though. . . I'm sure as these things go. . . there will be another opportunity sometime down the road. In the meantime, did ride into Ontario Canada this past June following a very scenic route to Georgian Bay with my 14 year old son and got somewhat of a glimpse of the trip that might have been. And, just a quick shout-out to my friends in Canada 'eh that I met along the way. What a great bunch of biker friendly people that were the most road courteous and naturally engaging people at all of our stops that I've ever met! Now, the bike is used only for weekend trips to the Dairy Queen with my wife. . . and will continue for next year or until the bike gets sold. Inquiries to home phone only, please.
