2000 Honda Interceptor VFR800F, Very nice 2000 Honda VFR800Fi with 30,000 miles on the ODO. Flawless mechanicals, bodywork in perfect shape, never dropped, never tracked, never off roaded, never ridden in rain, always garaged, well maintained. 3,000 miles on newly cleaned K&N filter. 2,500 on new sprockets and chains. 2,500 miles since oil filter and oil change (fully synthetic Shell Rotella T-6, my favorite). 6,500 miles on brake pads front and back. Also replaced front rotors. 8,000 miles on Bridgestone BT016 Battlax tires, with plenty of tread left. Replaced rectifier and additionally mounted permanent cooling fan (I think this was the only weak spot of this bike, now resolved). Built in center-stand and single swing-arm makes work on bike much easier. I did all the work personally and it is done right. Comes with rear seat cowl as shown in pictures and also included is the parts to convert to rear seat if so desired. Original manual and tools included. I'm the third owner and the previous two also took good care of this bike. I used it as a daily commuter from a cold of 25F to heat of 85F. Ran perfectly and very smooth with nice power band and good low end torque. Two cosmetic flaws. Spilled some brake fluid on the dash when bleeding the brakes thus some splotches. Also wheels has some chipping of paint. This is a very good looking bike in a striking yellow color that got a lot of looks on the road. With my matching yellow suit, I got a lot of thumbs up. Never had that happen on other bikes I've owned. Unfortunately a little too big for me as it was difficult for me to get both heels on the ground when stopped. I have a 30inch inseam. So I got a smaller bike. If you are interested in a Sports-Touring bike that has the capability to run on trackdays (Fast Freddie Spencer used it at his racing school years ago), and then be comfortable enough to go on a week long vacation, this is the bike. Best part is, like all Hondas it is made like a Swiss watch. $3,400.00 3303213422
