I bought this bike brand new in 06/2010 and used it as an all year around commuter for the pass 5 years. Also did few weekend gateway and 2 long trip up North. Other than normal wear and tear the bike is in good condition. The worst is few scratch from the auxiliary lights rubbing on the fairing under braking, I moved the lights afterward so it doesn't rub anymore (Didn't notice after installing the lowering link). I have a spare rear shock with 10K miles that I bough for spare that comes with the bike. There's about 2K miles left on the oil change and probably has another 2-4K miles on the rear tire, depending on riding style. So basically there's nothing wrong with this bike. I own a FZ09 too and just bough a new car... I simply don't need the FZ6R anymore. Perfect bike for someone who want to gets in riding motorcycle or just need a solid/bullet proof bike to commute. Traded in my 2013 R1200RT for this brand new one from Gulf Coast Motors (BMW dealer) in Ft. Myers. Had to have the Matte Grey finish. The bike is amazing and I am reluctant to sell it, but I don't ride it enough. As you can see there are only 667 miles. Have only had it since November. The small scuff on the side view mirror happened during transport to me. I have all the original books, keys and documents. Have always had bikes since I was a kid and I always take great care of them. Adult owned, Garage kept, never dropped. Bike is in perfect condition besides the small scuff.
