1978 KAWASAKI KZ1000 This KZ is in very good condition. It has been lightly restored and customized in the recent past. Obviously the bike is not original but it is in very good condition. The paint is bright red and done to a high quality. It has a set of Vance & Hines exhaust. The air box has been removed. I have detailed and safety checked the bike. I cleaned the carbs and changed the fluids. A new battery and solenoid has been installed. The tires are in very good condition with plenty of tread and no rot. The inside of the tank is clean. The front brake reservoir has leaked and the paint is peeling on it. The bike was damaged by a shipping company. The front brake lever is bent and the right headlight bracket is bent a little. All the lights, horn and gauges work. The mileage reads 22,401 but the bike is being sold EXEMPT from mileage because of age. It does come with a clean PA title. The bike is kick and electric start and will start both ways. I have taken this KZ on a reliability run and the motor, clutch and transmission all work and sound as they should. 2006 KTM 990 SUPERDUKE This 990 is a recent bank repossession that had been sitting for awhile. When the bike was sold at auction it did not have a key. So it was bought non-running. Since it had no power the auction was unable to verify the mileage which is required by law. This means the bike was bought TMU (true mileage unknown). The clean PA title will read 7150 miles but have an odometer status as not the actual mileage. I do believe the mileage on the bike 8,330 to be correct. As it is a digital odometer and is in working order. I safety inspected and detailed the bike. Upon inspection I noticed a few things not working properly. I sent the bike to the local KTM dealer to go over and fix any warranty items and anything needed for inspection and safety. The bike has two new tires, all fluids bleed and replaced, new battery, new speed sensor, new exhaust gaskets, new fuel lines and new fuel level sensor. The only item not fixed was the low warning light issue. They tried fixing it with the replacement of the level sensor but it did not work. Further tests point to a problem with the dash(faulty circuit). The dash works fine for everything else except the low fuel light stays on. A new factory dash is about $500. The bike sounds great with the aftermarket exhaust. The only blemish I noticed is the right lower fairing decal is discolored. This is a great opportunity to buy a 990 on the cheap because of a lazy auction not getting a key made. 1990 YAMAHA RADIAN XY600 This Radian had been sitting for awhile. It was in pretty bad shape. The gas tank has been cleaned of all rust. I installed a new petcock and fuel lines. The carbs were too far gone so I got an extremely clean set of FJ600 carbs and installed them. I have rebuilt the entire front brake system. I have detailed and safety inspected the bike. Brand new tires and battery have been installed. Oil has been changed. Once done this bike is in very nice condition. The gas tank has a good size dent. Some of the chrome shows some pitting. All the gauges, lights and horn work 100%. The front fork seals will need to be replaced at some point as they leak. The bike has been on a reliability run and the motor, clutch and transmission all work and sound as they should. This bike would be great as it is or as a cafe racer or even a track bike.
