Original mature owner (46 yrs old). Never abused, raced, or dropped. Garage kept. New Bridgestone tires. New battery with trickle charge cable under rear seat. Also has GPS cable hardwired for Magellan units (mounted on tankbag) in zip case across handlebars. (don't know if wire will fit other GPS manufacturers?) Have most service & purchase receipts (but it's been ten years). Also have owners manual. Motorcycle maintenance is part of the hobby & have been changing the the oil myself with basic Yamalube, Yamaha filters, & new crush washers every time. Comes with original stiff 2006 shock & a softer 2007 unit. Now running an Ohliens which is better than both. Also installed an FCE (fuel cut eliminator) by Ivan at rockland county for smooth throttle response - google it. Have original cheap Yamaha seat, Yamaha "comfort" seat with FZ-1 logo, and a Corbin passenger seat with backrest. Also have the Corbin "smugglers trunk" for storage. Has a rear fender "eliminator" kit that mounts the license plate high & makes the rear tire visible, looks awesome. You still get original rear fender. Stock exhaust has a few boot scuffs that internet forums say would come off, but take the paint with it!, so I left it as is - I don't need adventures with flat black barbecue paint. Liked the comfortable upright position & wide handlebars with the sport bike power & styling the FZ1 is famous for. Read up on the old magazine reviews from 2006+. Bike is a screamer that comes alive above 6000 rpms. Very well behaved below. Fuel milage depends on your right wrist. I fantasize about having a "stable" of bikes but I'm just not that guy with multiple motorcycles in a three car garage. Took most of the pictures after a wash, but love riding so bike will look normal & mileage will increase. Will be buying another bike as soon as this sells. You get everything pictured including good karma from a guy who's been riding responsible since high school and never went down (knock on wood). You'll be hard pressed to find a bike this clean & well cared for - for the year, low mileage & the extras (esp the Corbins). $4500 firm. Call 201 288 1048 to come start it up & check it out.
