Currently selling my very gently used Yamaha R6S 600cc sport bike. This bike is black on black with a few, mostly cosmetic modifications. This bike runs very well and is ready to be driven off by a lucky owner. Still plenty of time left in the summer for whoever is lucky enough to pick this one up. I'm selling this bike because as much as I love it, I feel like I never have enough time to ride it. I'd much rather have the money at this point so have decided to sell. I own this bike free and clear, and the title is clean so there will be no issues there. Feel free to check the carfax to see that this bike is accident free, and also feel free to send a mechanic to inspect the vehicle. Modifications are: Flush-mount turn signals, fender delete, MotoGP drag pipe (with baffle so it is loud, but not TOO loud,) and gas tank grip. Bike has nicks, dings and scratches but nothing too bad, overall in great shape and you'll be proud to show it off. Please contact Chris at 831-264-3042 prior to sending your offer so I know that you're serious, and to arrange shipping prior to completing the auction. Thank you!

Great bike to commute economically and comfortably as well as for new riders. It’s extremely light, great on gas, and has good handling. I was able to get about 70mpg very easily through spirited riding. It is an absolute blast to ride on hills and winding roads and will encourage you to take the longer scenic routes to your destination. Rides very well in the highway as well, easily reaching highway speeds although it obviously doesn’t accelerate as quickly as bikes with bigger engines. Even still, it has a 0-60 of about 6 seconds and I have reached speeds of 90 mph though never tried to go any faster. Full disclosure: I did drop it once, the first time I stopped on a hill took me by surprise. There’s some very minor scratches on the right mirror casing, right turn indicator and handle bar tip. The brake pad is slightly bent. It happened during my first 50 miles and have never had any issues. I even had the dealer look at it and he just laughed after inspecting it saying it was all good. I do have a brand new Honda OEM brake lever pad that will be included. I actually prefer the slight bent on the brake pad and left it like that. Has a few installed modifications:Akrapovic Carbon Fiber Slip-On exhaust worth $610, adds a very nice deep throaty sound and looks cool too. I’m really satisfied with its sound level, its louder than the stock but not too loud. It has a baffle in it which I’ve never taken off as I don’t want to anger my neighbors. Yoshimura Frame Sliders worth $147, will protect the frame of your bike if dropped.PIAA Extreme White Bulbs (x3, main 55w bulb and side 5w bulbs), way better lighting at night. Also included is a Yoshimura Fender Eliminator Kit worth $100+ which you can install. I didn’t install it since I was planning on getting an integrated tail light which I would have installed at the same time as the eliminator kit. I bought this bike brand new when I started riding. I originally intended to keep this bike but after thinking it through I don’t want to keep two bikes. At the time of publishing this, May ‘15, the mileage is 1484. This is an excellent bike and you’ll love it as long as you have reasonable expectations. Parts are very inexpensive for this bike and maintenance is infrequent and affordable. Rides and runs great, had an oil change with Castrol synthetic oil, with the next oil change being at 5,000 miles. I strongly suggest you google the modifications I have for it as well, I didn’t buy the cheap stuff.
