1996 Honda Cbr 900RR, I'm the original owner of this beauty. I bought it new, still in the crate, nearly 20 years ago. I'm the only person who has ridden it or laid a wrench on it. Adult ridden and maintained. Never thrashed, raced or crashed. Always parked indoors. Engine, exhaust and running gear are completely stock. Minor cosmetic changes have been made, such as removal of racer-boy graphics, replacement of ugly turn signals, cleanup of rear tail section, including integrated LED turn signal. Also includes rear tire hugger, Throttlemeister cruise, Honda cover and Honda Service Manual. This is a nimble, smooth and powerful motorcycle, with plenty of mid-range torque. It stops on a dime. And looks great doing it. Unfortunately, the bike has aged more gracefully than I have. I'd never sell it except for the fact that I'm finding it more difficult to wrap my bones around its ergos for any length of time. I've done all the maintenance, but haven't been good about keeping records (never thought I'd sell it). Rear tire at 50%. Chain and sprockets good to 25K. Westco battery is 4 years old (always kept on Battery Tender, still going strong). Synthetic oil and Genuine Honda filters have always been used. Recommended service items: 1. inspect valve clearance 2. replace front tire Clean title. $3,995 or best reasonable offer. New CBRs sell for $14K.
