2009 Genuine Scooter Company Buddy 125, Purchased brand new by me in Feb 2010. I have an excellent mechanic and did regular oil changes and maintenance as needed. Filed him up with premium gas too. It has some cosmetic damage, but no mechanical issues. Admittedly, fixing it up will cost anywhere from $250-$600 depending on how important aesthetics are to you. The panels can be bought online (Scooter ) and my mechanic charges a reasonable rate to install them (If you're in the Miami area, he comes to you!). If you're handy, you can install them yourself and save even more. Considering it is a 125cc and has very useful accessories, it would be well worth $1100-$1200 once all fixed up. Hence the "as is" price listed above. In addition to the trunk and protective bars, I will also include 2 helmets with the purchase ($100 retail value). Unlike 50cc scooters, this 125cc can reach speeds of 50-60 mph, which means you won't be holding up traffic when driving on US1, and you can actually get to US1 using 195 or 395. I used this scooter as my only vehicle for the first 3 years I had it, and between the storage under the seat and trunk I could make multiple stops and carry quite a bit. Whatever didn't fit in there, can be easily secured behind you thanks to the bars that surround it (bungee cords also included with purchase). Those bars also protect the bike from casual drops, or when a rude neighbors knocks it over and give passengers a comfy foot rest. Being kept in a garage for now in Hollywood, FL.
