2005 Ridley Auto-Glide 740. The odometer on this Ridley reads 6,800, which represents the actual mileage to the motorcycle. Options for this 2005 Ridley include: Windshield (both a 15 inch and a 17 inch included) Leather Seat, Wide White Wall Tires, and Wire Wheels and Leather Side Bags with velcro closures. Powering this Ridley Auto-Glide is a 750 CC V-Twin engine. A CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) automatic transmission puts the power to the pavement smoothly and efficiently. The solid white bike does have a blue feather detail in the tank and matching one on the rear fender. This Ridley features side bags that are leather with a velcro closure. The classic and subtle look make this Ridley look timeless, and will always be in style. The CVT makes this motorcycle super easy to drive, and is what made the Ridley Motorcycle Company a success in the first place.  The Ridley Motorcycle Company was founded in 1997 by Clay Ridley and his son Joe Ridley, and was based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Clay began experimenting with automatic transmissions in motorcycles for his sons in 1995. Once he realized that there was not a 2 wheeled vehicle larger than a scooter with an automatic transmission, he found his niche in the market. The Speedster was the first model, and it debuted in 1999. In 2003 the larger Auto-Glide model was introduced and by 2009 Ridley was selling 4,000 units annually. Ridley motorcycles were sold through 55 dealers in the United States and 4 international dealers. As the Ridley became more successful with their larger Auto-Glide model, Harley Davidson decided to sue for trademark infringement. Ultimately Ridley Motorcycle Company filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2010, and was no more.
