For sale is a 1982 Bremen Sports Equipment, Inc. Sebring II Turbo. These cars came factory assembled and are very well built. The body is the thickest fiberglass I have seen. The car was produced by Bremen Sports in 1982 using a late model VW beetle chassis (balljoint, IRS) and a GM 2.8L V6. It has a 12v power system and VW drum Brakes. The car uses electric actuators to raise and lower the top and has a professionally installed A/C system (receipts attached image). The best part is the car is titled in PA as a 1982 Bremen Sebring so it will qualify for collector tags and not require an enhanced inspection. I purchased this car from an estate in 2013 with plans of doing a full restoration on the vehicle but don’t have the time to finish it. This is a project car, it does not currently run and will require work to finish but will be a fun, fast head turner when done! From what I was told/seen the car was stored in a garage its whole life and has been in an enclosed carport since I purchased it. The car was parked when I started the restoration in late 2013. At that time the odometer read 27,000 and the engine was fully functional with the exception of a leaky water pump. I am including a new pump and a complete seal kit for the engine. I am also including a FACTORY REBUILT GM 2.8L V6 ENGINE that will be a direct replacement to the existing engine, I wanted to make it a strong running reliable show car so I purchased the new engine. I have all the badges that came with the car as well as the build manual and marketing broachers. There is a bunch of good information available on these vehicles at Sterlingkitcars.com Whats been done: Interior: New seats, I purchased and recovered, in vinyl, a pare of Mazda Miata seats. The interior is intact but sitting in position I removed the side panels so I could trace the electrical. The dash has been removed, it had some outdated nonfunctional lights and gauges so I removed it with plans of installing an intelitronix digital dash (go for $160-200, not included) to modernize the look. I got as far as disconnecting the old gauges and installing a template, I planned to have an aluminum dash cut. Extieor: The outside has gotten most of the attention, the side skirts are fiberglass from a Camaro they have been bolted into place and fiberglassed to the body. Minor sanding has been done but the skirts will still require filler and sanding to be finished. I filled holes around the car where you see primer (with fiberglass) and added a modified Camaro wing to the rear. The rear engine lid has been modified to fit a rear brake light under the wing. What needs to be done Inerior: Will need a steering wheel and dash finished. The car should get a new wiring harness this was the main reason I parked the car. Right now most of the electrical is unpowered but in place. The actuators to raise and lower the top are powered but there are so many splices in the lines that they need assistance to raise and lower. I believe with new wires and a cleaning, the actuators won’t be an issue as they worked before I started moving wires. The engine will need the new waterpump installed on the old engine or all the accessories installed on the new engine and that installed. The engine bay got dusty from the body work but everything is there. The A/C system will need to be gone over and at the very least charged when I drove the car the A/C appeared to be working but it has since been parked. The A/C system has not been touched with exception of the electrical being disconnected. The interior of the canopy is perfect and does not need paint etc. The windshield (same for a Sterling Sport Car, still available) is in great shape but it has residue on the upper section from sun tint I just didn’t get to removing. The sunroof looks new and opens for ventilation and as an alternate escape (side windows are also big enough to exit) the rear glass is good but will need either a new gasket or just the gasket wedge piece (see picture). The side windows are plexlyglass and flat so any glass shop can cut you tempered glass using the plexyglass as a template. The exterior will require a repaint due to the modifications and holes being filled. The paint was decent before the modifications so it won’t require too much paint prep to repaint. The wheels appear to be original cragers and do have some flaking, these can either be refinished or other rims used. The wheel wells are large and can accommodate a large number of other wheel options. If you have any questions please ask prior to bidding. This vehicle is being sold as a project as is/where is without warranty or any liability on the part of the seller. All sales are final. I would prefer local pick up, please do not bid if you plan to ship unless this has been arranged with me in advance. The vehicle is located in Bethlehem, PA and is available for inspection. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AD FIRST THEN CALL (610) 509-8972 WITH QUESTIONS, I WILL NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY, DO NOT ASK. This Vehicle is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the listing at any time.

The last picture is an old picture I found online of this car assembled as a reference. For sale is a sterling kit car on a Volkswagen 70's rolling chassis. The body is serial # 470. The body is in decent shape but will need some fiberglass and body work prior to paint. The car comes with canopy lift arms (not pictured) and all of the fiberglass body components with the exception of a dashboard or seats. New parts are available through sterlingsportscars.com and there are a few members of sterlingkitcars.com (forum) that have or make their own parts for sale. The car comes with the rear window glass but you will need to purchase a windshield through sterlingsportscars.com or get a used one. The side windows are flat glass and can be purchased from sterling or made by most glass shops. The chassis does not come with a title, bill of sale only. It has a balljoint front suspension and irs with transaxle. The chassis will need new floor pans. The old pans were removed to lower to add headroom in the car. Drum brakes front and rear. This vehicle does not come with a warranty, it is a rolling chassis with a fiberglass body, it is up to the buyer to complete the vehicle. No return accepted. No shipping, due to the loose fiberglass parts I would prefer not to ship the car, as I do not want parts to be lost or damaged. If this is your only option please contact me prior to bidding. Thanks If you have questions or would like to inspect the vehicle please contact Brian (8am-8pm EST) at 61o-5o9-8972 Kit car, replica car, VW, Volkswagen, fiberglass, sports car
