This car was built by Classic roadsters in 1999 for a gentleman in Greenwich Ct. The car was enjoyed by the owner for a very little time as he unfortunately passed away. The car sat in a heated garage for about 7 years and I bought it from the widow of this gentleman. I have had it about a year and recently got around to getting it registered and titled. The car was never titled in Ct. and that caused some extra work on my part getting the car inspected by the state at a site almost 2 hours away, but that has been done and I'm in the process of receiving the title in the mail. The car has only 353 miles as I write this and has been barely broken in. I have driven it a couple of times and the ride is as with most replica/kits a bit hard. I would suggest a suspension upgrade for a much softer ride. The power generated by this engine/tranny combination is awesome! It rumbles along like a hungry lion looking for meat! It feels like the engine is on top of you and the power is being transferred on to you! It's small, light (2500lbs.) and nimble. This beauty is powered by a Ford 351W (Windsor) motor which according to the purchase invoice I have included in the pictures was dynoed at 350HP. The paint is in excellent condition. Gelcoat beige yellow with a tan leather interior with no rips or flaws. Remember this car has 350 miles. Look at the included pics of the description of options and you'll see no expense was spared when the original owner purchased this car. Some of the features on this car are:l Aluminum manifold, pulleys and valve covers Edelbrock Carburetor Electronic Distributor Chrome Coil High performance pistons Cam, lifters, chrome moly rings, high volume oil pump, double roller timing chain, pushrods, heads are pocket ported, 3 angle valve job and much more. Transmission is a Borg Warner Ford T5 5 speed Motor alone cost over $5000 and the transmission upgrade cost over $1800. Issue to be addressed: Passenger window glass is off it's track and will not go down properly, passenger windshield wiper needs to be adjusted. Car needs to be properly tuned and carburetor adjusted. Car sat many years and these issues are normal. Unfortunately for me, I'm relocating from the Northeast to South Carolina and have no time to enjoy this very nice toy. I'm 61 and too old for this bad boy. I have a 1957 Chevy belair sitting in pieces in my garage which needs this old man to finally get it done. I encourage anyone to take a look at this nice example of an Austin Healey on American steroid muscle! Please serious bidders only. Make a reasonable offer and I will consider it. If I don't sell at a fair price I will take with me south and enjoy some of those south carolina country roads! I will assist with shipping but am not offering shipping at this time.
