"BOB BUTTS 1966-STYLE BATMOBILE REPLICA" Due to a hectic work schedule and an impending residential move, being offered for sale is a "Bob Butts 1966-style Batmobile Replica", as I do not have the time to complete the build. My loss is your gain, once completed, these replica's can sell for as much as $150,000 to $200,000. The Bob Butts replica is the most desired of all of the kits available as it was molded off of the original, and is therefore exacting in detail as compared to other kits which are "sculpted" versions. This specific example was molded out of flame retardant vinyl ester resin, very light, yet very strong and is mounted on the chassis of a 1978 Lincoln Continental which was a rust-free Florida car and only lacks bodywork, paint and final assembly. All of the upholstery work has already been professionally completed, needs installation of a new exhaust system ( which is inexpensive ), and interior carpeting. Mechanically, the ENGINE has been professionally refurbished, run's great and only has ten miles on it since being customized. It was completely dis-assembled and all mechanical's replaced and the engine repainted.
