I chose to pay more and was very selective on my donor and didn't use a salvage base but instead brought a low mileage car which has a APS Twin Turbo setup that was professionally built by Z1Performance in Atlanta GA. The hours of bodywork is also pretty much complete and door function and open and close fine. The car is ready to be painted at this point and just need wheels selected and choice of interior which will be up to buyer of vechile. If car doesn't sell i will just finish it and keep it myself but this is a rare chance to get a rare car with all the headaches taken care of at this point. Unfortunately, I have no more time to dedicate to this project. All of the hard work is done. Frame, body mounting, door assembly, and interior fitting are the hardest tasks with these builds. It still has electrical, mechanical, upholstery, body work, and paint to do. Two of the key distinguishing features about this build is it has mounted paddle shifters and working door glasses. The fourth DECO RIDES “BUGNOTTI” Boattail, a Gen Two model with Type 57 Bugatti grille, was sold Jan. 17, 2009 at the Gooding and Company auction in Scottsdale for $203,500 despite the weak economic climate.
