This is a one piece fiberglass kit car body that is complete and ready to bolt to your VW chassis or buy mine for an extra charge. This auction is for the body only which is currently on stands. Have begun to strip ugly yellow paint off but some more finishing work is still required. This car was bought as a roller with an electric motor bolted to the trans-axle. There are some gauges in the dash for an electric car. I will include some interior pieces and the front seats with this auction. I was going to build an electric car but I have another project I need funding for. The body currently will not roll as it is not on the pan/chassis, it is up on stands. I have replaced both full floor pans and the frame head but have not finished welding. Front beam is off. Have parts like chrome shocks ,disk brake conversion kit and much more. It is presently very difficult to get good pictures because of it being on stands in my garage. Buyer will have to either pick up or arrange their own shipping. no title or key. This car is extremely rare and in all the searching I've done over the years I have only seen two others. The body was made by a company in Canada. Doors are hung. all glass is installed and in good condition and also included is a super rare rear window louver. Vehicle is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. This is a genuine Factory Five vehicle with no expense spared. To start with... This is NO mustang donor project! It is a 2008 Factory Five MK4 model with every upgrade possible. Everything used to build this car was bought new and only the best was purchased. It has a factory five upgraded five link rear suspension with full adjustable coil overs, a 351w crate engine bored and stroked to 427ci with Edelbrock Victor Jr. Heads, Edelbrock Victor Jr. Intake, a Holley 4 bbl. carb. and headers to straight pipes, all paired with a short throw shifter, Tremac 5-Speed transmission and a 150 shot of nitrous plumbed to the accelerator. Just gas it and THIS BABY GOES!! This beauty puts out 450+HP! At first crank she purrs. But it is no stock small block and it is noticeable. It has a VERY nice rumble and you can hear the muscle even at idle just waiting to be unleashed. All valve covers, air filter, and emblems are factory replica Cobra and Ford Racing parts. It has Simpson racing harnesses, a Line locker, fully plumped nitrous system as well as fire suppression system. Torque thrust wheels with WIDE rear tires. There is too much to list, just know that this is NOT a project and was not a donor or budget cobra build, this was the best of the best, built to race, drive, and show. The car is title in NH as a 1965 Shelby Cobra with a brand listing "Replica" It was built in 2008, and only has 3500 miles on it. This car was built by an older gentleman that had intentions of keeping it forever. It was his pride and joy and no expense was spared while being built. The intentions were to make this a street legal drag car, and it is just that! Tons of fun on the road and FAST AS HELL!! Unfortunately, health issues forced the sale and this car has never seen a track. I purchased this car to add to my personal collection. It sits in my home garage and is used only on beautiful days to show off and put a smile on my sons face. We get compliments everywhere we go and at every stop light. Get in and be proud. Just hang on and block your ears when you get on it. Ok, so here is the deal and the upfront truth. Do you want a trailer queen, a Grade A, Perfectly new car that you would see at pebble beach? This car was not built for that. This was built to drive, have fun, and enjoy! It only has 3500 original miles on it. It does get driven somewhat regularly and is part of my personal collection. It is a local show winner, and people LOVE it everywhere we go. But, if you walk around it, you will be able to find slight or minor flaws. small stone chips from road debris towards lower levels of the car, and just regular slight wear in general. NOTHING MAJOR! There are no issues what so ever, but it is not abslutely perfect and I dont want you to expect it to be. If you want perfect, I recommend you buy or build a new one for the $65k+ it costs. The paint shines beautifully, the interior is in excellent condition, and the car drives great. It does make it out onto the open road from time to time, It doesn't just get trailered around from show to show. The paint shines flawlessly. It is a very unique color. It is a dark forest green with Pearl Iridescent stripes that vary between brown, green, and dark yellow all with a metallic pearl depending on lighting and angle. This car cost over $65,000 to build and only has 3500 miles! The car is VERY nice, CLEAN, and READY for a new owner! This is not a new car, so please don't expect one.
