1965 FACTORY 5 COBRA REPLICA Vintage Autohaus & Imports is proud to offer for consignment this 65 Cobra Factory 5 Replica. If you can say Ford Racing that will describe this car. This car is 95% built with Ford Racing upgrades. Now to the build. Engine: 1989 302ci that has been rebuilt and bored to 306ci with 9.75 to 1 compression balanced and blueprinted with Ford Racing aluminum heads, roller cam and lifters, GT intake, 36lb injectors, 2 Ford computers tuned to performance specs, Ford enhancer to set air fuel ratio, and RPM limiter. Adds to the engine include aluminum flywheel, underdrive serpentine belt system, SFI dampner, and oil cooler. Approximately 400hp @ 6500 RPM. The exhaust consists of shorty headers with side pipes and all Jet Hot Coated. Transmission: Tremec 3550 5 speed with 3.27 lowgear .082 in 5th gear. Performance additions include King Cobra Clutch, SFI scattershield, and Hurst T-Handle Shifter with line loc feature. Differential: Solid 8.8 Ford with 3.27 gears and new Ford Posi, Moser Hardend Axels with 10” rear disc brakes. Brakes: Ford Racing 13” front disc with Cobra Calipers and 10” rear disc. DOT 5 fluid. It has non power steering rack and pinion. Chassis: Factory 5 Racing 4” round tube frame with aluminum floors and fiberglass body, optional trunk panel cut out, drop box floor, updated hood hinge kit by F.F.R., optional Hi Back FFR seats, and complete Tonneau cover with split zipper. Features include S Warner gauges, 2 speed heater control, panic handle, 5 point Simpson seat belts, and chrome roll bar with body seal kit. Wheels & Tires: 2003 Cobra Mustang 17x8 with BFG KDW 245/45 in front and 275/40 in rear K Dry Wet directional 200 diameter tires. Suspension: Tubular upper and lower front control arms with adjustable shocks, upgraded upper and lower FFR tubular control arms with braced lowers, Ford Racing rear end cover for increased lubrication and reinforcement of center section, 750 lb springs in the rear keep the car from BOTTOMING OUT.
