Lone Stars were designed with quality and comfort in mind as they are about 4 inches longer than the original Cobra and all this room is in the cockpit to include dropped foot boxes. Engine: 1989 302ci that has been rebuilt and bored to 306ci with 9.75 to 1 compression balanced and blueprinted with Ford Racing aluminum heads, roller cam and lifters, GT intake, 36lb injectors, 2 Ford computers tuned to performance specs, Ford enhancer to set air fuel ratio, and RPM limiter. Adds to the engine include aluminum flywheel, underdrive serpentine belt system, SFI dampner, and oil cooler. Approximately 400hp @ 6500 RPM. The exhaust consists of shorty headers with side pipes and all Jet Hot Coated. Transmission: Tremec 3550 5 speed with 3.27 lowgear .082 in 5th gear. Performance additions include King Cobra Clutch, SFI scattershield, and Hurst T-Handle Shifter with line loc feature. Differential: Solid 8.8 Ford with 3.27 gears and new Ford Posi, Moser Hardend Axels with 10” rear disc brakes. Brakes: Ford Racing 13” front disc with Cobra Calipers and 10” rear disc. DOT 5 fluid.
