This is a Classic Motor Carriage Cobra kit car from 1995. I found it in San Jose, CA 2008 unfinished, bought it, and began putting it together… 18 months later... In January 2009 she ran for the first time and has been a lot of fun for 6 years and 2800 + miles. . . There is virtually nothing to do on the car except drive it. . . The car is registered in Georgia as a 1966 Ford Cobra and will be sold with a Bill of Sale. It has all documentation from the build and does not need to meet emissions requirements. Now about the car, it is not painted. Classic Motor Carriage cars were unique because the fiberglass is gel coat colored Red. It is very easy to polish and scratches can be easily repaired. It has a white stripe down the middle that is painted by an amateur. I have thought about taking off the current stripe and repainting it; however it looks pretty good as is. No major dents, cracks or breaks, the fiberglass body. The Chassis is square tubular welded structure...very rigid and strong. It accepts nearly all Mustang II and Fox Body Mustang parts. Trust me...this 302 is plenty of power for this 2800 lb. little car! That is everything that I can think of. I have done most of the hard work...and my back has felt it more than once! Oh yeah...
