For Sale: 1965 Shelby Cobra replica. Polished aluminum coachwork replete with WWI (Lafayette Escadrille) and WWII (North American P51 Mustang) livery [and with a vanity plate of P-39 AC (WWII's Bell P-39 AiraCobra) which you'll get along with the car]. Registered under the coveted “SB-100” (California Senate Bill 100)—that means no smog certification, no California registration hassles for the life of the car! This is a one-of-a-kind replica—an aluminum bodied FFR! No other aluminum-bodied FFR exists. The body was supplied by Kirkham Motorsports and is mated to a highly-modified FFR chassis. Under the hood: 487 hp/351W Ford small-block V8 equipped with: Edelbrock EMFI system, GT40 Ford Racing heads, mechanical throttle linkage system, turkey pan, 4-into-1 headers, Milodon circle track pan, Fluidyne radiator. Geartrain: hydraulic clutch, McLeod scattershield bellhousing, TKO 600 transmission. Chassis, brakes and rolling stock: 4-wheel independent coil-over suspension, Girling brake and clutch reservoirs, 12" disc brakes front & rear with 4-piston Wilwood 'Dynalite' calipers; Wilwood sp ot caliper emergency brake system. True Trigo knockoff wheels fitted with BF Goodrich T/A Radial rubber [235/60x15 front; 295/50x15 rear]. In the cockpit: hand-bucked aluminum WWII bomber–style seats/ parachute style cushions, fresh air vent system, aircraft style circuit breaker system, heater, windshield wiper system. Other premium particulars include: lots of polished aluminum, custom aluminum fuel cell. This glistening aero-Cobra is a multiple show winner. Only 5,000 miles [8,000 km]. I'm asking $75,000 obo; I would also consider selling it as a turnkey minus or (otherwise) configuring it to your specifications.
