2009 Piaggio Mp3 400, For sale is a my silver 2009 Vespa/Piaggio MP3 400cc scooter. This is a 3 wheel leaning scooter and capable of speeds of up to 88mph. This is a scooter which you need to have a motorcycle endorsement to ride. This scooter is great for the city and has great traction and control on the bumpy city roads, and also capable of touring as well. It has a 400cc motor with plenty of power to sustain highway speeds even up hills and in the mountains. The scooter currently has approx 2,600 miles on it and gets between 55-65mpg. It has been serviced at the Vespa dealer and there are no issues with it. There are no problems getting parts for these scooters as they are made by Vespa. Also this scooter has never been in an accident or dropped, it is in excellent condition. Upgrades include Cee Baileys tall windscreen and Piaggio factory topcase which has plenty of storage for a weekend ride and also acts as a backrest for a second passenger. The scooter has a locking feature which holds the scooter upright when you are at a traffic light and you don't need to put your feet down to hold the scooter up.The scooter runs really well. 2007 Piaggio Mp3 250, It has many extras with it. A "Givi" tall shield, the largest "Givi" trunk box, "custom" comfortable two seater seat and an extra back tire. It was just fully service two months ago and is ready to ride. It does have some scratches, but it looks good! It has 19000 miles, but it has always been garaged and well maintained. 2009 Piaggio Mp3 500, Freshly serviced with full synthetic, oil filter, lubed and adjusted suspension. Both the Givi trunk and Ermax windscreen are brand new. Compare... the Ermax is the only screen that matches the lines of this bike perfectly. The pics don't lie. The 500cc MP3's are road capable machines. Particularly with windscreen, this will flow with traffic at interstate speeds without issue. This bike does have some paint nicks which I can send in separate photos. Also, there is a crack in the very tip of the windscreen (with glue repair) where it "hugs" the center light. Nearly invisible, but we want to ensure no surprises. This was purchased for my wife, but she is unable to overcome fear of two wheels rather than four. That is why the fresh service, new trunk and new windshield. I already have two motorcycles so keeping this isn't practical. Please shop... you will find other that are either "naked" or with higher miles at a higher price. this is a nice bike that runs well. $4,950.00
