SCOOTER FOR SALE 2012 Piaggio 125 cc Typhoon, it’s Italian, the original home of top quality scooters. I bought this scooter new in October 2011. I’m 64 years old, so I’m no high speed teen wanting to torture the engine. This was my ride to work, 12 miles one way, for a few years, year around, it has always been very solid and dependable, whether in January or August. It’s a fun, easy, and economical ride. Yes, you can buy a new one from the dealer, like I did, with an advertised MSRP of $2699, but after all of the many fees and taxes were added, the total drive-off price came to $3400. Here’s a chance to spend less than half that, offered at $1500. I have a clean title. I’m not a dealer, bank or loan company, so no financing or trades. Cash only.To keep the engine in top condition, I’ve always used 93 octane premium Shell gasoline over the 11,700 miles on the odometer. This scooter has been serviced at more than regular intervals at Vespa Dallas, and to have it ready for this sale, they’ve added two new tires with new front brakes, plus changed the oil & filter, and you won’t need an inspection sticker until February of next year. It has been garage kept. You’ll like the size of the locking, under-seat storage.You can lock-out the steering column for security when it’s parked. Gas economy of 60+ mpg in city. After filling the almost 2 gallon gas tank, you can cruise for 100 miles. No need to shift gears, it acclerates smoothly via the right hand throttle and you can reach 58 mph. Both front and rear brakes are applied with the grip of your hands. Halogen low / high beam headlight with pulse switch. Why sell now ? I’ve moved on to Honda motorcycles.
