1975 Bricklin SV-1 7248 miles - Comes with the original window sticker The story that came with this car is it was held by the original dealer in Easton, PA and not sold until 1985. The first owner joined the Bricklin owners club October 1985 and the letter confirming this is with the car. I believe it was this owner that changed the radio. There is at least one service record with the car and an oil change sticker on the door that confirm the car had about 1,000 miles on it in 1985. After this the trail goes cold for many years. The state of PA doesn't release past ownership data and since the car was registered as an antique many years ago the state does not track the mileage. The car appears again in 1999 less than 20 miles from the original dealership. The owner previous to me bought the car that year with 5,000 miles showing. The new owner drove the car less than 2,000 miles in the next 10 years and parked the car. In 2016, that owner decided to get the car out of storage and sell it. He had a complete service done inclduing all belts and hoses, rebuild of the brakes, carburetor rebuild, all fresh fluids and general inspection. The car ran very well by the time I purchased it and after putting some highway miles on it, it got even better. The car is painted Safety orange, the fiberglass body shell with its plastic outer coating is generally good for a Bricklin but it is not without some flaws. These bodies are prone to warping and cracking of panels. There are several spots of previous crack repair work and they did a bad job of blending colors. These spots are on the tailgate, corner of the hood and the very top edge of the right front fender (see the photos). A skilled painter should be able to better blend a color and spray in these small repairs to make them look much better than they do now. There is one unrepaired chip in the finish on the back edge of the left front wheel opening (see photo). Other than the previous repairs and the chip, the exterior is in real good condition. I had the car professionally detailed and it really came out looking great. Somewhere in the car's history it got the front tires replaced, they are Summit Radials and still have the nibs on them so they can't have much milage on them. The rears are Goodrich radials and seem to be in real good shape. The doors on these cars are gull wing style and they were originally hydraulic operated. The system was a modified Ford convertible top system. They were prone to leakage and failure when new with the stories of people being trapped in their cars being common. A former Bricklin engineer designed a pneumatic system to replace the troublesome hydraulics. The parts for this conversion can be readily found on eBay if you want to learn about it. This car has had the doors converted over to the pneumatic system and it works very well. If you were to do this conversion it would cost about $1800 for parts and labor. The interior of this car is in very good condition. The seats still look like new. The carpets look great although a bit wrinkly. I'm told these carpets are correct replacement type and perhaps someone needs to clean-up the installation. The dash and rear area are very good. The headlights work properly, the AC blows cool but may need a charge. Under the hood looks great. The Ford 351 runs very well, starts easily and performs reasonably. The engine compartment could use some detailing but is otherwise ready to go. Overall, a legitimate low mileage Bricklin. Car 1653 of 2854 made. Comes with the original owners manual, factory service manual, factory parts book and as mentioned above, the original window sticker. The car is not perfect but it is above average and with some serious detailing this could actually be show worthy. 96 800x600 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Important Notice: Bidders are responsible to examine the car or have a representative examine the car prior to bidding. This car is being sold "as-is, where is" with no warranties or guarantees implied, inferred or stated. The buyer is responsible for all taxes, transfers, shipping and related fees. All proceeds must be in cash or bank wire transfer. I will accept Paypal for the deposit only. A deposit of $1000 via Paypal within 24 hours of the close of the sale is required. The car should be paid in full and removed within 14 days of the close of the sale. I will work with a buyer if this is a problem. If the car is not removed within the agreed time limit, all monies paid on account shall be forfeited. Any problems or questions, email me right away. I pride myself on fast response and trying to work out problems before they become unsolvable. Bidding on this car is a legal offer to purchase. Should you win, I expect you will follow through or I will pursue every means available to force payment or have you sanctioned by eBay.

Hello to all Ebayers! I have been with EBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation with EBay at 100%. I bought this beautiful car with the intention of bringing it to California to add to my collection but I recently sold my storage facility where I store my classics so I am not able to keep this one. I have a clear Florida title that will be mailed to the buyer. This Bricklin is located in a Copart facility in Jacksonville, Florida. This car is also listed on Sale at a local Copart auction but I put it on Ebay to expedite selling this vehicle since I need to sell it ASAP. If you feel more comfortable buying it on Copart you are welcome to become a member of Copart and put a bid on it. PRICED TO SELL !!! Here is the description I have from the previous owner: "This Bricklin is a very unique color that you don't see every day. This Bricklin has original low miles of 47,032. This car is very unique and has doors like a Delorean or a Mercedes SLS. This car is an every day driver that gets a lot of attention! This Bricklin runs and drives great and was maintained. It will need a little TLC in the interior to look better." Here is some information about this car: The Bricklin SV-1 is a gull-wing door sports car that was assembled in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. The body panels were manufactured in a separate plant in Minto, New Brunswick. Manufactured from 1974 until early 1976 for the U.S. market, the car was the creation of Malcolm Bricklin, an American millionaire who had previously founded Subaru of America. The car was designed by Herb Grasse., the Bricklin factory was not able to produce vehicles fast enough to make a profit. As a result, only 2,854 cars were built before the company went into receivership, owing the New Brunswick government $23 million. The model name (SV-1), stood for "safety vehicle one". The original idea for the Bricklin SV-1 was a safe and economical sports car, but due to the added weight of the safety features, the car was inefficient and simply a safe sports car.The Bricklin was designed for safety with an integrated roll cage, 5 mph (8.0 km/h) bumpers, and side beams. The body was fibreglass with bonded acrylic in five "safety" colours: white, red, green, orange and suntan. The cars had no cigarette lighter or ashtray. Non-smoker Malcolm Bricklin believed it was unsafe to smoke and drive. The Bricklin is the only production vehicle in automotive history to have factory powered, gull-wing doors, that opened and closed at the touch of a button, as standard equipment. The later DeLorean DMC-12's gull-wing doors operate manually, and the Tesla Model X's rear doors are considered falcon-wing doors rather than gull-wing due to the extra hinge. The first Bricklin concept car, latter dubbed Grey Ghost, was built by Bruce Meyers of Meyers Manx dune buggy fame in California. Its initial powerplant was a Valiant Slant Six. This vehicle is Priced to Sell!!! This is your chance to own this Bricklin for a very reasonable price. If you want to talk to me email me a phone number through Ebay and I will call you or you can ask your questions through Ebay. I want to make sure that you are satisfied with your purchase. Please bid with confidence and if you have any questions that I might not have covered in the description, please don’t hesitate to ask. You can email me or send me your phone number and I will give you a call. I will help arrange shipping. You can try United Auto Transport for shipping. They’re a very reliable company. Call 800-963-5505 to receive a quote for transport. I’m able to store it for two weeks after purchase is made if you need time lining it up. After 2 weeks the storage facility will charge a daily storage fee. This car is advertised on other sites so I have the right to end the auction if the car gets sold. Keep in mind she’s over 40 years old. I’m not a dealer, just passionate about classic cars and trucks. Please be ready to buy when you click. A non refundable $500 deposit is due at purchase and final payment within 7 days. Balance is to be paid by bank wire or a certified bank cashier’s check. Check will need to clear before the car will be released and title is sent. The winning bidder needs to contact me within 24 hours of auction end to make payment arrangements. Please arrange all financing prior to bidding. If you are not sure about something please ask! Do not assume anything. All non-paying high bidders will be reported to EBay. General Information: People have different opinions and expectations of old cars. It is your responsibility to inspect the vehicle or send a third party inspector for your satisfaction. Remember this is a 42 year old vehicle. This is your chance to own this great classic. If you are buying and paying for this vehicle you are 100% satisfied.

1975 Bricklin SV1 This is a 1975 Bricklin that has quite a few options. I have owned this car for a few years now and is a very clean driver that you would not be ashamed of but not so clean and perfect you are afraid to park it somewhere. If you are looking for perfect this is not it. If you are looking for something that looks great and drive it anywhere you want this is it. When I talk about not perfect I am talking about a car that is painted with minor blemishes that you would expect from a car that has been driven. By no means is this junk also. This car gets a lot of attention where ever we take it. This car is equipped with power windows that work perfect, new digital gauges, carbon fiber dash, hands free stereo that all you have to do is have your phone on you and you can make and receive calls or stream music from your phone will also play your nav on your phone through stereo plus has a remote about the size of a key fob, remote for the doors, wire rims and leather monogrammed strut covers. Work that has been done to this car is all new shocks, all new brakes with calipers, pads, seals, brake hoses front and back, shoes, new cylinders, all new cooling system hoses including heater hoses and bypass hoses, thermostat, water pump, new aluminum radiator, belts, power steering hoses, trans service, tune up, carburetor overhaul, tune up with plug wires, air latch set up, new door cylinders, new remote door down adjusters, all new window felt, battery, alternator, hood blanket and updated ignition system with distributor. I could go on and on but I think you get the picture. The only reason I am selling this car is I just bought a four speed to play with and need the room. Interior is perfect on this car as you can see by the photo's. Hood has a little fit problem but not as bad as the photo's show it seems we forgot to shut hood when we were taking the photo's. You could not do all the work on this car for what I am asking for this basically someone will be getting a great driver for less than the price that has been put into this car. I will entertain reasonable offers only. I am selling this car as is and you are welcome to come see it at any time you want. Buyer is responsible for any shipping required. I do have a clear California Title with no leans and no salvage which is the kiss of death for a title in California. Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.

The passengers door has a crack and some plastic missing. The Hood has some plastic missing. Both are minor but probably very expensive to repair. All the seals in the motor and transmission are old and leaking. A heavy duty radiator was in installed several years ago but it still overheats. All Bricklins overheated due to bad design of air flow in the engine compartment. The Hydraulic doors were replace with air doors W/remote. A Console with an ash tray was installed. The Air Conditioner does not work. I am the original owner and have all the paper work for the car. It was purchased in Champaign IL from a VW/Bricklin dealer. Shipping is up to the purchaser. I will only accept cash.
