I wanted to play with a modern scooter but I'm not thrilled by all the choices from China and Taiwan. With a little research I found this to play with. Somebody in Miami was importing an selling these excellent little Peugeot scooters so I snapped one up many years ago. It had 200 miles on it when I purchased it. We did a few laps around the yard but I've never actually USED IT as transportation. Flash forward many years of sitting and I finally got together it's "upgrade" parts and installed them. These are substantial upgrades that make it a pretty zippy little euro machine. On paper it's still a 50CC moped/scooter but here is a shot list of upgrades (I have receipts for most of them): (please note there are less than 500 miles on her and less than 5 miles on the upgrades) • Racing Cylinder Malossi MHR (jug, piston head kit) 68cc • Racing Air Filter • 19mm Dellorto carb (manual choke conversion) • Stainless expansion chamber sport exhaust system (big bucks) • Variator upgrade, uprated spring and Kevlar • New battery Please NOTE- This Scooter is rare in this country. It is NOT some kind of re-badged Chinese junk! It's a REAL modern French scooter with a lot of interesting engineering. It is a Single cylinder, two-stroke water cooled 68cc (50 on paper) single sided swingarm, 2 disk brake, and projector headlights. They have a lot of modification parts in Europe where it has a strong cult flowing. Most of the upgrade parts were ordered out of Germany from S.I.P Performance. Everything is available and even a few parts from ScooterWorks in Chicago. You can use this for your daily commute but it's really a collectors scooter. I have well over 4 grand invested in her. I know It's not worth it now. I had my fun working on her and doing laps in the yard.I' m selling her because I have 5 other hobby vehicles and that's way too much for me. It will be sold with many of the original parts.
