Normal 0 This is not your Grandpa's Scout, at least not any more. With a Chevy ZZ-383 Factory Crate engine putting out 425 horsepower, and full YJ suspension, it makes for a very nice ride. I built this Scout to keep, and only used the best components for it. I wish I didn't have to sell my baby, but finances have dictated otherwise. I just finished building it, and it only has 300 miles put on it since all of the work has been done. Here is a list from the bottom up: · Dana 44 rear end with factory Posi-Traction, new outer bearings and seals including pinion; 3.73 gears. Also new Brake Shoes, Drums, Flexible Brake Hose, and Wheel Cylinders · Professionally Installed Jeep YJ Springs w/ new Greaseable Hangers and Shackles. They are much wider than the Scout springs, and have very nice Stable Ride to them · Rear end moved forward so tires will fit in the wheel well better than stock · Front axle also moved forward to maintain 100 inch wheelbase, and also to provide better Balance · Front axle is a Dana 30 that has just been completely rebuilt with all new bearings, seals, and a new 3.73 ring and pinion, plus the same custom installed YJ spring setup as the rear. It sits at stock height, but it would be very easy to change out the springs to a lifted set if that is your thing. · New Skyjacker 7000 Twin Tube Shocks on rear · New Skyjacker 8000 Twin Tube shocks on front · New Red Dirt Road Wheels 18 X 9 Front and rear · New Matched set of 4 Pirelli Scorpion Tires 275-60-18 · Chevy Factory Crate ZZ-383 engine w/ 10K miles on it since new · Engine was 7,000 dollars new, and has Aluminum Fast Burn heads, Hydraulic Roller Cam, Chevy Aluminum Intake, Carter AFB Carb w/ Fuel Pressure Gauge, New HEI Clear Billet Distributor, Tall Aluminum Finned Valve Covers, Moroso 8MM Spark Plug Wires · Stainless Steel Headers, Heat Wrapped, feeding a flexible X-pipe Exhaust to Patriot Side Pipes. Sound is intoxicating · New electric Fuel Pump w/ Shutoff valve · New Custom Throttle linkage and Pedal · Original Gas tank has been removed, pressure washed inside and out, and put back in with a new Sender and OEM correct Filler Hose with Vent Tube · New Velocity Stack Air Clear W/ Permanent Gauze Filter · Crossflow Radiator w/ Flex Fan, Chrome Shroud, and Stainless Steel Overflow Tank · New Optima Battery · New Fresh Air Intake Hoses custom ordered in Black and Yellow · Fresh TH-350 Chevy Transmission w/ Aluminum Pan w/ Drain and Aluminum Inspection Cover · Advanced Adaptor Plate to connect Transmission to Original Two Stick Transfer Case that has a New Boot on it · Custom LED Tail Lights · New Inside and Out Rear View Mirrors · Body was very clean to begin with; Two Metal repair panels were welded in on each side behind each door. New door Pins were installed where needed and doors aligned properly. All door hardware, glass, ect. were removed prior to paint. · Paint is House of Kolor Kandy Apple Red. All products used of the highest quality · Fully Functional Challenger T/A Hood Scoop W/ Grills · Hood has Custom Installed Gas Shocks, so no prop rod is needed · New Turn Signal Switch. Crossovers mounted behind dash · New JL Audio JX360/4 Class A/B Amp Hooked up W/ 4 Gauge Wiring · New JBL CS1014 10" Subwoofer mounted behind passenger seat w/ a 2 Cubic Foot Metal Enclosure in the wheel well area This Scout Turns Heads like you wouldn't believe. It is Turn Key and ready to drive anywhere. The original windshield wiper motors, and vacuum switches are still in place, but they never worked very well, so I did not hook up new hoses to them. There is a very slick new system being sold now that replaces everything with an electric motor. It will come with a Clear, Vin Number Matching, Oregon State Title in my name. I will be keeping my custom license plates. Other than the windshield wipers I am aware of no other issues with the Scout, and as with all used vehicles, it will be sold "as-is" I will need a 500 dollar deposit immediately following the auctions close, with the balance due by way of cash, cashiers check, or bank transfer within 5 business days.
