A original drawing was copied and then it was built from scratch starting with a wood buck just like the old days , and then it was hand hammered and English wheel rolled to eventually become the handcrafted aluminium body. The frame is custom and the engine is a Jaguar V12 from the 70s with a custom built intake manifold and multiple carbs. This extensive project took several years and a ton of money , but it was time and money well spent ; the car is georgeous ! All thats left to do is the chrome pieces around the body. Google De La Haye 165 and look at the pictures of the original ; its identical , but look how it looks with the chrome moldings ! I just dont have the time to get that done , but it will change the appearance of this beauty drastically ( and the price will go WAY up ! ) This car has only a few test miles on it , so its like new !
