Ebay's policy prohibits me from saying "why" I am re-listing or for calling out the previous "buyer". But you get the idea. BTW, I am re-listing with a $500.00 discount over last time. If you have a wife, and your wife rides motorcycles, you have probably gone out with her to find that "just right perfect" motorcycle...only to get it home and she ain't happy with it...too big, too small, whatever. Well this is what we have here. She bought it, she rode it, she wanted something else...something smaller in this case. Anyway what we have here is a 2009 Yamaha 650 V Star Classic Silverado Edition. The paint is perfect, the chrome is perfect, it is virtually a new bike with less than 2,000 miles on the clock. As the mileage suggests, neither the original owner or my wife put much time in the saddle...which is not always a good thing. The bike starts right up and runs like a scalded dog once it is warmed up good, however it is a little rough during idle when warming it up. If I was to keep it, I would pull the carbs and rebuild them. My guess is that there is some gasoline "varnish" build up in the jets. But that is the only maintenance item needed. This bike is great for someone's first "big" bike and you can ride two-up with no problems at all. We live in the mountains of SW Virginia and have taken it out several times together and have no problems at all pulling the hills around here...an neither of us are what you could consider "light weights"...don't tell my wife I said that. Anyway, the pictures speak for themselves. The price is almost $700.00 below Kelly Blue Book and a whopping $3,000.00 below NADA...who do those guys think they are kidding??? This bike can be ridden anywhere in the USA today. Damn near new and even closer to new if you clean up the carbs a little. This is a deal and you know it. So get off you butt, hit "buy" and enjoy riding this bike for the next 20 years...these motors are bullet proof. You know you can't afford a Harley or you wouldn't be checking this out, so what's the hold up??? BUY IT!!! Crating, shipping, pick-up or whatever is the complete and total responsibility of the buyer. I'm old and cranky, so don't expect me to find out how much shipping costs are.
