About $7,000 in dealer upgrades from $19,000 sticker price. • 2008 For Two Convertible with 33,700 documented miles, see pic. • Triple Black with dealer installed body kit, done at time of purchase. See pix. The front spoiler, which hangs lower than a normal Smart Car, has been removed cause driving in Atlanta it got beat up. You can NOT just put a new front spoiler on as it was. This is because once the front spoiler was taken off part of the plastic housing was protruding & looked bad. So I trimmed the housing evenly so it looked much cleaner. I think the front looks great just the way it is & car runs pretty much the same. So just has 2 side skirts & back spoiler. $2,700 upgrade. • Dealer installed 17" Lorinser wheels. Were painted black after a few years of ownership. Could use to be repainted again (cost about $240 to repaint. Not power coated which is higher.) Car drives so much better with 17" over standard 15". Besides they are very cool in my estimation & rare. Rare because not many people willing to pay $4,000 to dealer for a car priced at $19,000. But I did & worth it. Sets it apart from all other Smart Cars. Wheels do have some minor curb rash not visible because I touched them up. Also one rim bent as it has been for a long time but switched to a back tire & still works perfectly. Also all 4 tires have working sensors. • Car came from factory with clock & tach. See pix. About $250. • Arm rest installed, not sure if factory or dealer. About $200. See pic, top needs to be recovered. Very cracked. • Smart Car rubber floor mats. • When had wheels painted also had front light & back lights smoked. Needs to be re-done. • Interior in good to very good shape for a 6 years old car. See pic of scratched driver seat. Thanks to my cat. That's the worst of the interior. I'm very particular & honest. • Windows professionally tinted with days of ownership. In perfect shape. • Mechanically couldn't be more sound. Yearly maintenance & oil changes including 30,000 maintenance with tune up. As you can see 6+ years & only 34,000 not a large average but still did yearly oil changes, etc. • All 4 tires in excellent shape. Just got a non-fixable flat so 1 tire brand new. Other 3 have 1-2,000 miles on them. DAMAGE: • Someone hit my car while it was parked & I wasn't there. So not a crash. I have $1,000 deductible so have just left it alone. But I have researched replacement parts. Total cost for 2 new panels & passenger back tail light about $550. Get it back looking beautiful with painting wheels for a grand total of $1,000. Smart Panels will come in black & can be installed in less than an hour. See the pix. Need trunk panel & passenger rear quarter panel about $200 each. Tail light lens $140. Please do you own research to verify this. You can buy the entire car of panels for $1,300 for new. However, the side skirts & rear spoiler not in that equation. So if wanted to change the color of car those parts will need to be painted. Also, the trunk doesn't close properly because of the damage, so the car won't lock, but once replaced should be fine. Lastly, the rear quarter is not sitting straight but that will be replaced. • No other accidents at all. I have NOT checked CarFax but certain it will come back clean. VIN is WMEEK31X48K092311. • As you can see from front hood of car there is no emblem. I removed the Smart Car emblems on front & back. Replaced with Mercedes Benz emblems. The front one fell off when backing & top of emblem gets separated over time. So then backing/bottom are left & nothing else. Smart Car is made by Merecedes in case you are not aware. I have brand new front emblem, not shown. Once the back trunk lid is replaced I have a cool Mercedes wing, see pic, that I painted black. I got these before someone hit my car & then didn't replace. This car is definitely worth $10,000 after being fixed.
