1962 Mercury Monterey S Fifty Five Purchased in June 2007 in Ohio, was originally a Texas car the owner was told. Owner has been ill and his toys are being sold, he has a project car like this available as well, with original motor. Original Owners Manuel included, Interior trim Package is 55 - a rare red and white interior trim. Only 2772 of this car made, far less with the red interior trim. Repainted 22 years ago - various chips on the car, and a few scrapes to the chrome trim also. Chrome trim is faded, and paint also shows fade. Overall body is good with some 'filler' found in the passenger door area. Other features: Clear Title Two Door Hardtop, the car was original made with the 390/300 Horsepower engine, was replaced with a Napa Rebuilt motor about 10 years ago- believes it is a 300 HP Ford engine from a 1964 Ford car. Rear Wheel Drive, Automatic Transmission, original transmission, Merc-O-Matic 3 Speed Bucket Seats Floor Shifter Runs Good and has good brakes $850.00 Custom made dash pad was added in the last year.
