We are a licensed and bonded dealer and have been in business for over 10 years. We also use licensed and bonded dealers nationwide as well as brokers who possess special salvage bid cards that your average dealer may not have. 2. Do you accept PayPal? If not, why do you not accept it? Unfortunately we do not accept Paypal. We do have alternate forms of submitting a deposit to reserve the vehicle you've recently won such as Direct Cash Deposit or Bank Wire Transfer. Please find all Account and Routing details in the Payment section below In the event you are unable to make FULL Payment required in the time allotted, we kindly ask you to submit a Deposit via Bank Wire transfer in the amount of $500 to secure your vehicle. Bank Wire Instructions, for Deposits ONLY are as follows: Chase Bank Account Name: I Bid Live Corp ABA Routing # 021000021 Account #750397783. Can I pick up the vehicle and pay for it myself at the holding facility? Yes, many of our customers happen to choose this option if they are located near a particular facility. Simply put, if you decide to exercise the option to pay at the holding facility with a bank check you must address ALL refunds with that facility. We are not responsible for any refunds for checks that are given to the facilities direct. What happens if I arrive at the facility and I see that the vehicle is missing parts, its not what it seemed to be in the images, it was tampered with, keys are missing etc.? What should I do? We advertise all of our vehicles on an AS IS basis. If for any reason you receive a vehicle that is completely inaccurate from its description (ie, VIN, Run & Drive, Gasoline or Diesel, Clean or Salvage Title) please contact our offices and we will assist you in an exchange or a refund depending on which payment method was applied. As far as keys are concerned, neither do the auctions nor do we guarantee keys. For those customers that retrieve the vehicles from the facility, please be aware once the gate release has been issued, and the vehicle has left the yard, NO REFUNDS will be accepted. In this circumstance, we can only help you resell it with reserve prices at auctions to come the following weeks at the same facility through our licensed and bonded broker accounts. Is it worth buying a salvage repairable vehicle? The answer is yes, the salvage industry is a billion dollar industry. People around the world purchase vehicles to rebuild. Certain states have stricter rebuilt title laws than others. Some states register parts only vehicles when others do not. There is no rhyme or reasoning why a vehicle with light damage has a salvage title and a vehicle with serious damage has a clean title. Over the years we have learned to accept what the insurance companies offer in particular states. Please be aware of this process, research your state laws and the cost of parts and labor, then make your decision. We simply offer the best vehicles, the best prices and our customers do turn a profit and buy countless vehicles, whether for a hobby or for a viable source of income. We also offer re-marketing for our customers as well, and will assist in re-selling any vehicle. Does the vehicle look like the pictures? Yes, the photos are provided to us by the holding facility of the actual vehicle using a digital camera. Our photos are NEVER photo shopped. Please feel free to present our images to a local repair shop to obtain fair and reasonable repair estimates. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET! 3. Where is the vehicle? Vehicles are stored nationwide at holding facilities and insurance auctions that store and/or resell vehicles for the insurance companies through Buy Now, live auctions, online auctions, sealed bid auctions, pure sale auctions and reserve bid auctions. 4. How long will it take to get my title? Typically, titles take about 10 to 15 business days to be mailed after the vehicle has been released. Our title department processes titles weekly. For more information please contact our customer service team at 1-800-436-5851. 5. How long will it take to get a gate release after I have paid for my vehicle? Gate releases may take 5 to 10 business days to acquire prior to picking up any vehicle from the holding facility. Once payment has been received the insurance company and/or auction will need to process payment accordingly. Once a gate release is issued, the vehicle may be dispatched through our preferred transportation company EZhaul.co or any transportation company of your choice. 1. Can an Insurance Company decide to take back the vehicle after it has been paid for? Yes, this may happen in rare occasions. If for any reason the auction or sale is cancelled, your purchase amount will be refunded immediately. At the same time our inventory is endless where there is always a replacement vehicle to meet your specific needs. 2. If I receive a vehicle and am unhappy with it, will you assist in reselling? Yes, we will be more than willing to assist in finding a holding facility near your location to resell on the market. We have a global audience bidding on these vehicles. Our team will help you find a replacement as well, if needed. Kindly keep in mind, if you are bidding on vehicles we offer, please understand our descriptions are brief and in most cases we are unable to physically inspect all of them. 3. Where do you get your vehicles? Our vehicles are acquired through our insurance company and auction contracts. We also have data agreements with some of the largest publicly traded Insurance Company Holding Facilities and Auctions. Lastly, we purchase and re-market vehicles that were acquired through our cash for cars program as well. 4. Does the vehicle have a clean title? Our vehicles that state "clean title" do in fact possess a clean title status. All others do possess "Salvage" status if noted. Please note, each State has different laws. We strongly encourage buyers to check with your local Department of Motor Vehicles. Most vehicles we market have branded or salvage titles due to accidents, floods, manufacturer buybacks, theft, etc. 5. What form of payments do you accept? We DO NOT accept PayPal. We only accept bank checks, cash deposits or wire transfers. The bank wire instructions, for DEPOSITS ONLY are as follows: Chase Bank, Account Name: I Bid Live Corp ABA Routing # 021000021 Account #750397783. Call us Toll Free 1 800 436 5851. Bank wire instructions are located on your brokers final invoice. The balance must be paid with cashier’s check, bank check or wire transfer within two business days of winning the vehicle. 1. Having covered only 8,000 miles at the time, they have used the car sparingly on sunny summer days only, and accumulated only another 10,000 miles during the past 15 years. The car presents essentially as a new example, with excellent fit and finish throughout. It runs perfectly and all accessories work properly including the Air Conditioning. The Wood dash and Connolly leather interior is without fault, and the exterior finish is in excellent condition. Featuring both the hard and soft tops and with full power including Steering, Brakes, and Windows, this is a well cared for example that will provide years of continued touring and showing enjoyment to the lucky new owner. We have many more photographs of this car, please click on any image to be taken to our full-size image list! The Excalibur automobile , was a car styled after the 1928 Mercedes-Benz SSK by Brooks Stevens for Studebaker. Stevens subsequently formed a company to manufacture and market the cars, which were conventional under their styling. A prototype premiered at the New York City Auto Show in 1964, fitted on a Studebaker Lark Daytona chassis and using a 290-horsepower Studebaker R2 289 V-8 supercharged engine. Studebaker almost immediately ceased its operations, ending the availability of that engine. Stevens subsequently obtained engines from General Motors through his friends, GM executives Ed Cole and "Bunkie" Knudsen. These were Chevrolet 327s in 300-bhp Corvette tune, making the 2100-pound Excalibur a strong performer. With the standard 3.31:1 rear axle, acceleration from 0-60 mph took less than six seconds. Projected top speed was 134 mph. In order to respect the tradition of changing models every five years, Excalibur introduced its Series V in 1985, a yet more luxurious vehicle offering a choice of more powerful engines for the European market, the most potent one developing over 300 hp SAE. They only managed to sell 97 cars in that year and 68 in 1986. A little over 3,200 Excalibur cars were built, all in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The American comedian Phyllis Diller was a notable proponent of the Excalibur automobile, and owned four of them. The company failed in 1986, but was revived several times. Production of the Excalibur continued until 1997. It is a completely original unrestored car, with excellent patina that can only be exhibited by a car that has been well cared for its entire life. A "Doctor's Coupe" this car sports a unique dickey or rumble seat and some really interesting features such as the gyroscopic ash tray. The car runs well and has just been recomissioned with fluid changes and other minor maintenance items. A CCCA Full Classic, this rare car will be equally at home on the show field in the preservation class or is a great car for spirited touring enjoyment. Its hard to find cars from this era that have been so lovingly preserved. This is a special car. We have many more photographs of this car, please click on any image to be taken to our full-size image list! The first car from what eventually became AC was presented at the Crystal Palace motor show in 1903; it was a 20 HP touring car and was displayed under the Weller name. The Weller Brothers of West Norwood, London, planned to produce an advanced 20 hp car. However, their financial backer and business manager John Portwine, a butcher, thought the car would be too expensive to produce and encouraged Weller to design and produce a little delivery three-wheeler. Weller did so, called it the Auto-Carrier, and a new company was founded and named Autocars and Accessories; production started in 1904. The vehicle caught on quickly and was a financial success. In 1907, a passenger version appeared, called the A.C. Sociable. It had a seat in place of the cargo box. The A.C. Sociable was described in a review of the 1912 Motor Cycle and Cycle Car Show as one of the most popular cycle cars on the road, both for pleasure and business, and A.C. displayed eight vehicles on their stand, six for pleasure and 2 for business. The single rear wheel contained a two-speed hub, and the single cylinder engine was mounted just in front of it, with rear chain drive. The company became Auto Carriers Ltd. in 1911 and moved to Ferry Works, Thames Ditton, Surrey—at this time they also began using the famed "AC" roundel logo. Their first four-wheeled car was produced in 1913; it was a sporty little two-seater with a gearbox on the rear axle. Only a few were built before production was interrupted by the first World War. During the Great War, the Ferry Works factory produced shells and fuses for the war effort, although at least one vehicle was designed and built for the War Office. At the end of the First World War, AC Cars started making motor vehicles again, designing and building many successful cars at Ferry Works, as well as expanding into an old balloon factory on Thames Ditton High Street. After the war, John Weller started on the design of a new overhead-cam 6-cylinder engine. The first versions of this design were running by 1919. The Weller engine would be produced until 1963; it is possibly the second-longest-lived production motor in history after the Volkswagen boxer. In 1921, Selwyn Edge (who had been with Napier & Son) bought shares in the company and was appointed governing director. He did not get along with Weller or Portwine, who resigned less than a year later. In 1922, the name changed again to AC Cars Ltd. In customary fashion Edge sought publicity for the company through motoring competition. In 1921 Sammy Davis joined A.C. as a driver, competing in the Junior Car Club 200-mile race, for cars up to 1,500 c.c., at Brooklands. In 1923 and 1924 J.A. Joyce won the Brighton Speed Trials driving an A.C. In May 1924, at Montlhéry, near Paris, T. G. Gillett broke the continuous 24-hour record in a 2-litre A.C., fitted with special streamlined bodywork, covering a distance of 1,949.3 miles. In 1926 the Honourable Victor Bruce, an AC employee, won the Monte Carlo Rally in his 2-litre AC. In 1927, Victor Bruce, with his wife Mildred (The Hon Mrs Victor Bruce), assisted by J.A. Joyce, set a 10-day endurance record at Montlhéry, driving an AC Six. Selwyn Edge bought the company outright for £135,000 in 1927 and re-registered it as AC (Acedes) Ltd but sales, which had been falling, continued to decline. The company was caught by the crash of 1929 and went into voluntary liquidation. Production ceased for a time, and the company was sold to the Hurlock family who ran a successful haulage business. They wanted the High Street factory only as a warehouse (Ferry Works was not acquired), but allowed the service side of AC to continue. A single car was made for William Hurlock in 1930. He liked it and agreed to restart very limited production, mainly using components left over from previous models. An agreement was reached with Standard to supply new chassis, the ancient three-speed transaxle was replaced by a modern four-speed gearbox (built in unit with the engine), and by 1932 a new range of cars was finally launched. Production continued on this small scale, averaging less than 100 vehicles per year, until the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939. The final pre-war car was delivered in June 1940, after which the factory was fully involved with war production. It runs and drives exceptionally well and has just been fully serviced and is ready for the road. In the current owners care for roughly the past 20 years, the car has always been kept stored inside, and used on sunny summer days only. This is a rare opportunity to acquire an exciting Post War British Sports car powered by a legendary BMW designed engine that stood the test of time. We have many more photographs of this car, please click on any image to be taken to our full-size image list! The Bristol 400 luxury car is the first automotive product of the British Bristol Aeroplane Company. After World War II, BAC decided to diversify and formed a car division, which would later be the Bristol Cars company in its own right. BAC subsequently acquired a licence from Frazer Nash to build BMW models. Bristol chose to base its first model on the best features of two outstanding pre-war BMWs, namely the 328's engine, and the 326's frame. These were covered with a neat mainly steel body but with aluminium bonnet, door and boot skins and inspired by the BMW 327's. The Bristol 400 featured a slightly modified version of BMW's six-cylinder pushrod engine of 1,971 cc (bore 66 mm, stroke 96 mm). This engine, considered advanced for its time due to its hemispherical combustion chambers and very short inlet and exhaust ports, developed 80 horsepower at 4,500 revs per minutes and could carry the 400 to a top speed of around 148 km/h (92 mph) with acceleration to match. In order to maintain a hemispherical combustion chamber, the valves had to be positioned at an angle to the head. In order to drive both sets of valves from a single camshaft, the Bristol engine used a system of rods, followers and bell-cranks to drive the valves on the far side of the engine from the camshaft. The gearbox was a four-speed manual with synchromesh on the upper three ratios and a freewheel on first. The model 400 was the only Bristol to be fitted with a steel and aluminum skin, and had all flat glass, but for the curved rear window, glazed in perspex, which was available to specification with a top hinge. This feature was very welcome on warmer climate export markets, where the sliding door windows provided only marginal ventilation to the passengers. The 400 featured independent front suspension with a transverse leaf spring and a live axle, located by an A-bracket over the differential case and longitudinal torsion bars with transverse arms and brackets at the rear. It featured a lengthy 2895 mm (114 inch) wheelbase and a very BMW-like grille at the front of its long bonnet. The passenger area was very short, with the spare tyre mounted inside the boot on the first cars, but eventually mounted on the rear hinged boot lid, inside an aluminum cover. Total Production from 1947 thru 1950 was 487 units. The company entered an air-cooled machine in the Vanderbilt Cup Race, but was disqualified for being 60 pounds overweight. They did run three entries in the 1916 Indianapolis 500 race, and did receive a perfect score in three consecutive Glidden Reliability tours. This particular example is a 40hp Premier with open front bodywork, a full complement of polished brass, a two-man top, large wheels, and a hearty T-head engine. It wears an older restoration that has held up remarkably well. The upholstery is the correct grained leather with stiff horsehair stuffing, the paint has the proper sheen and color combination and the top material is the correct grained vinyl. It is fitted with an electric starter.   It is one of a handful at best in existence. We have many more photographs of this car, please click on any image to be taken to our full-size image list! The Premier Motor Manufacturing Company was organized in 1903 by George A. Weidely and Harold O. Smith in Indianapolis.  The company initially built automobiles with air-cooled engines.  A 1903 Premier is on display in the Speedway Museum in Indianapolis and a 1918 Premier is on display at Space Farms Zoo & Museum in New Jersey. A1916 Premier is on display at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum. The Premier was one of the best-built American automobiles of the pre-World War I era. By 1910, when this automobile was built, the Premier had completed three Glidden Tours (essentially, endurance runs) with perfect scores - a significant accomplishment. By 1910, Premier offered two models including a 60 horsepower six-cylinder model and a 40HP four. The 40HP model featured a T-head engine, four-speed transmission and a shaft drive rear axle. Selling for $2,500, the Premier was available as either a roadster or a tourer. Advertised as capable of 70 miles per hour the Blue Ribbon or Special Speedster, was Haynes most sporting model for 1922. Featuring German Silver brightwork and an aluminum body, this car was built for speed and luxury at the same time. Featuring Dual Side Mounts, Dual Golf Bag Doors, full leather interior, and Wire Wheels, no running boards, this sporting car stands alone. Having covered only 117 miles since restoration, the car still presents as a freshly restored car, and still has many trophies coming its way. The car was restored by a Haynes expert in Kokomo who purchased the car as a stalled project. and embarked on a complete nut and bolt restoration with extreme attention to detail and authenticity. The car runs perfectly, it starts right up runs smoothly and shfits crisply without a lot of need for double clutching. The steering is light and accurate, and the car does live up to its reputation with brisk acceleration, and sure footed braking. These cars are sure to be added to the list of Pre 1925 cars recently approved by the Classic Car Club of America so in short order this car will be fully eligible for all their events. We have many more photographs of this car, please click on any image to be taken to our full-size image list! The Haynes Automobile Company was a United States automobile manufacturing company which produced automobiles in Kokomo, Indiana, from 1905 to 1924. The company was formerly known as the Haynes-Apperson company which produced automobiles under that name from 1896-1905. Co-founder Elwood Haynes changed the name of the company after fellow co-founders Elmer and Edgar Apperson left to form the Apperson Brothers Automobile Company in 1901. The company was declared bankrupt in 1924 and went out of business in 1925. Elwood Haynes was the inventor of Stellite which revolutionized valve metallurgy allowing poppet valve engines to become the dominant design utilized in internal combustion engines. Prior to this valves had to be changed out every 15,000 miles or so, so the sleeve valve engine was viewed as more durable and long lived. Billed as America's First Car, the Haynes was a quality automobile built to compete with the finest cars of its time. View our eBay StoreSign up for our Email Newsletter 1963 Sunbeam Alpine offered with a reserve I purchased this car quite by accident at the Worldwide Auburn sale 3 years ago, it was part of a large collection of funky little cars being offered there. It was a solid runner, but was pretty tatty all around. I decided to dive in and fix her up cosmetically-new paint-interior-headliner-rubber trim-grill-dash-and opted to go with a cream over red livery, which while not a catalogue color scheme, I thought would suit the car well. I must say I'm am very pleased with how the car turned out. It does not have a soft top, strictly the removable hardtop and thats it. Of course we've had to do some mechanical work as well, including an entire new brake system, new tires, battery, and I decided to add a perktronix ignition system for reliability. This car runs exceptionally well, with brisk accelleration, smooth shifting, strong brakes, and nimble handling These early cars were not widely imported to the US, and are quite rare stateside. They have really started coming up in the marketplace, and I think this will be a good investment car to hold for the next 3-5 years, and enjoy in the meantime.  I fully planned to simply keep the car in my collection, but just found another car I just had to have and am out of room. Feel free to call if you have any questions. We have many more photographs of this car, please click on any image to be taken to our full-size image list! The Sunbeam Alpine is a sporty two-seat open car from Rootes Group's Sunbeam car marque. The original was launched in 1953 as the first vehicle from Sunbeam-Talbot to bear the Sunbeam name alone since the 1935 takeover of Sunbeam and Talbot by the Rootes Group. A muscle-car variant of the later versions was also built, the Sunbeam Tiger. Kenneth Howes and Jeff Crompton were tasked with doing a complete redesign in 1956, with the goal of producing a dedicated sports car aimed principally at the US market. Ken Howes contributed some 80 per cent of the overall design work, which bears more than incidental resemblance to the early Ford Thunderbird[citation needed]; Howe had worked at Ford before joining Rootes. The Alpine was produced in four subsequent revisions through to 1968. Total production numbered around 70,000. Production stopped shortly after the Chrysler takeover of the Rootes Group. The "Series" Alpine started production in 1959. One of the original prototypes still survives and was raced by British Touring car champion Bernard Unett. The car made extensive use of components from other Rootes Group vehicles and was built on a modified floorpan from the Hillman Husky estate car. The running gear came mainly from the Sunbeam Rapier, but with front disc brakes replacing the saloon car's drums. An overdrive unit and wire wheels were optional. The suspension was independent at the front using coil springs and at the rear had a live axle and semi-elliptic springing. The Girling-manufactured brakes used 9.5 in disc at the front and 9 in drums at the rear. Coupe versions of the post-1959 version were built by Thomas Harrington Ltd. Until 1962 the car was assembled for Rootes by Armstrong Siddeley. An open car with overdrive was tested by the British magazine The Motor in 1959. It had a top speed of 99.5 mph and could accelerate from 0–60 mph in 13.6 seconds. A fuel consumption of 31.4 miles per imperial gallon ( 26.1 mpg-US) was recorded. The test car cost £1031 including taxes. 11,904 examples of the series I were produced. The Series I featured a 1494 cc engine and was styled by the Loewy Studios for the Rootes Group. It had dual downdraft carburetors, a soft top that could be hidden by special integral covers and the first available roll up side windows offered in a British sports car of that time. The Series II of 1962 featured an enlarged 1592 cc engine producing 80 bhp and revised rear suspension, but there were few other changes. When it was replaced in 1963, 19,956 had been made. The Franklin Automobile Company was an American manufacturer of automobiles in the United States between 1902 and 1934 in Syracuse, New York. Herbert H. Franklin founded the H. H. Franklin Manufacturing Company in 1893 and, in 1901, teamed up with engineer John Wilkinson to develop an air-cooled engine. In 1902, the Franklin automobile was introduced. Because he was the primary investor, Franklin assumed control of the company, and named the auto manufacturing division Franklin Automobile Company. As president, he managed the company finances and business administration. Wilkinson was named chief engineer and granted control of the engineering and manufacturing operation. Throughout its history, Franklin was a luxury brand and competed with other upscale automobiles of the day. As such, it fell victim to the Great Depression along with many luxury car manufacturers. The company sold about 150,000 cars over the course of more than 30 years in existence. Franklin was a leader in innovation. Franklin cars were air-cooled,which was considered simpler and more reliable than water cooling. The company's advertisements and brochures explained that air cooling did away with the "radiators, hoses, water pumps and headaches of 'normal' engine boiling and freezing." In July 1902, H. H. Franklin Manufacturing Company introduced a constant level carburetor. It was originally designed to enable an engine to operate through great ranges of speed and throttle without a change in quality of the mixture to compensate for a problem with earlier carburetors where the speed of the engine was limited by the amount of gasoline as the engine drew differing amounts of air. Franklin cars were technological leaders, first with six-cylinders (by 1905) and later that year, the first eight-cylinder engine was built by Wilkinson in preparation for the "Vanderbilt Cup" race by placing two four-cylinder engines in tandem. The automatic spark advance was introduced in 1907. They were undisputed leaders in air-cooled cars at a time when virtually every other manufacturer had adopted water cooling as cheaper and easier to manufacture. Before the invention of antifreeze, the air-cooled car had a huge advantage in cold weather, and Franklins were popular among people such as doctors, who needed an all-weather machine. The limitation of air-cooling was the size of the cylinder bore and the available area for the valves, which limited the power output of the earlier Franklins. By 1921, a change in cooling—moving the fan from sucking hot air to blowing cool air—led the way to the gradual increase in power. The Franklin automobile was lightweight, a critical determinant in a well-performing car for that time, given the limited power of the engines available. Most Franklins were wood-framed, although the very first model in 1902 was constructed from an angle iron frame. Beginning in 1928, the heavier Franklin models adopted a conventional pressed-steel frame. Franklin's wooden frames, along with full-elliptic leaf springs, offered a "baby buggy" ride over the unpaved roads of the day. Wilkinson used a wooden frame constructed of three-ply laminated ash. The benefits were twofold: decreasing the weight of the vehicle and providing a better material to absorb shocks. Aluminum bodies were part of John Wilkinson's obsessive quest for "scientific light weight" he strived for in all Franklin vehicles. Lightweight aluminum was used in quantity, to the extent that Franklin was believed to be the largest user of aluminum in the world.Franklin offered "scientific light weight and flexible construction at a time when other luxury car manufacturers were making ponderous machines.
