Garage Kept! I bought this a couple of years ago with only 67 miles on it ..... from a corporate lawyer who had it in his garage sitting next to his 4 door Porsche.....I couldnt belive I found one so close to showroom new! These Piaggio scooters are the top of the line that the Italian Vespa used to sell. In fact they where TOO GOOD and very expensive. The guy paid $400.00 for the tall windshield and $8995.00 for the scooter. I too have kept it in a garage all the time I have had it. It is fun to drive and is very sure footed in it's handling. Stops exceptional well with 3 disc breaks. It has no problems on the interstate....70-75 mph. Book says top speed is 89mph. They are quick for their size due to having a 43 hp double overhead cam 4 stroke engine and belt drive. It still looks within a hair as good as when I bought it except for one small area I found when cleaning it....this is shown in the one super close up picture. Also note how super clean the windshield is! I tried to take a couple pictures looking thru it to show how clear and spotless it is. If you have been looking for one of these....you have seen other pictures where these look good mile after mile....they last well. If well kept and garaged.....these should last well over 50,000 miles. In Italy many don't own a car and they use these for daily comute to work. When I bought it...I paid cash for it.... If you're close enough to come pick it up....balance in cash only or balance by cashiers check or Money Order....then we will need to go to a local bank to call and confirm the cashiers check is good... then I'll sign it over and help you load it...un less of course you are driving it home :-) If you want to come look before you buy...contact me thru eBay.
