I bought this wonderful Vespa Piaggio Gran Turismo 200L in California, where it lived from 2008 (when new) to 2013 (when I moved to New York). It has had the ultimate in tender loving care--only 1604 miles, all Sunday drive-type outings. It has NEVER been out in snow, ice, or salty roads. I keep it garaged and, when out during the daytime, under its protective cover (a waterproof, soft cover that comes with). Yes, I'm obsessive. Gets about 150 miles per gallon, uses no oil. Has had regular maintenance since new. No work has been done or needed on this Gran Turismo. If you want to see fun in action, put in "Vespa Gran Turismo" on YouTube and enjoy the ride! I am selling solely due to retirement. Owned free and clear, with title, registration, and inspection in New York. Speedometer shows 90 MPH as top speed, and although I've never been close to that (for God's sake, I'm an English professor!), I have no doubt that it can go that fast. This is NOT a moped, but instead is the vehicle of choice in Paris, Rome, and San Francisco. You've seen them in a thousand commercials on TV. Comes with both keys (the start key and the backup key necessary for maintenance). Also comes with $125 helmet (pictured) in great shape, from a smoke-free, pet-free environment. Buyer is responsible for transporting it from my home in Colton, New York 13625--good excuse to come up to the foothills to the Adirondacks. I accept Paypal (only), due within 24 hours of close of auction. Double seat (with hang-on strap for passenger) lifts up (pictured) for storage, which locks. Turn signals, electric horn, side mirrors, tripometer, headlight, tail-light, luggage rack, all in perfect shape. This Vespa has a clean Carfax report showing no accidents or body work. All mechanical systems (engine, exhaust, automatic transmission, brakes, etc.) are perfect, like new.
