For sale is my 2015 Polaris Slingshot. I bought this vehicle and immediately began modifying it. Engine: - Installed a sport exhaust system from Slingshot Mods (Sounds ridiculously better than stock and much louder) +4HP- Added an upgraded cold air intake system +2HP- Installed a new race ready short shifter Cosmetic: - replaced steering wheel with Assault racing wheel- replaced shift knob- added red mirror accents- new outdoor floor mats with Slingshot color and logo- Racing pedal inserts (clutch/brake/gas) I'm selling this because I was completely shocked that this vehicle isn't allowed on tracks with other cars. I can only take it on with other Slingshots. So I would rather sell it and buy something that I can use for work and track. This is a very rare Slingshot that has already been modified and other than a turbo kit, there really isn't anything else I would do with the engine. (I've heard turbo kits break the belts) Can meet in person or ship (buyers cost).

The Panoz Roadster was the first Sports Car manufactured by Panoz Auto Development Company of Hoschton, Georgia. In total approximately One Hundred Seventy Six (176) cars were made beginning in 1996 and continuing into early 2000. Ten (10) Ten year Special Anniversary models were made. This car is number Two (2) of Ten (10). The Panoz Roadster is special in many ways. It was the first almost all aluminum car produced from its chassis to its engine even its body panels. Because of the aluminum content (65%) the Panoz Roadster was named “AIV” for Aluminum Intensive Vehicle. The aluminum made the car very light approximately 2,500 lbs. and very strong. The aluminum was riveted, welded and adhesive was used to bond the chassis, the result was so strong that Panoz had to crimp its chassis in several places to allow for compression in an accident. The Plymouth Prowler copied the Panoz in its use of aluminum but the execution by Panoz both in terms of design and quality is superior. Panoz employed the drive train from the SVT Ford Mustang Cobra and then shortened the gearshift points and made other slight performance modifications. This car has an all handmade SVT Ford Cobra engine and drive train producing approximately 320 horsepower. This roadster’s lightweight and horsepower make it one of the fastest production cars made as of 1999. This example is the most collectable roadster ever produced by Panoz and includes a spare set of carpet mats to protect the original Tenth Anniversary mats, two sets of original keys, an original owner’s manual with all documents offered at the original sale, Alpine radio cover (unopened) and my personal correspondence with Panoz. I have also included magazine articles published about the Panoz Roadster as well as sales literature offered initially. Car will be offered for sale outside Ebay and I reserve the right to cancel the auction for any reason at any time.
