1967 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller, Frickford Gray with Red interior, right hand drive, 4 speed manual, 26k miles on odometer. Solid car treated to a driver quality restoration in 1990 (repaint, body patched and undercoated, wood restored, engine re-built, clutch replaced), driven for a year and put into storage. Religiously started and idled once a month trough the years, kept in a heated garage. Taken out of storage three months ago - oil/spark plugs/battery/water pump/dynamo/brake master cylinder/all wheel cylinders/rear brake lines replaced - front drums cut. Carburetor adjusted, points/capacitator/cables addressed, wheels re-finished and balanced. Matching engine/gearbox and original glass/chrome. Inspected and put back on the road, daily driven with no current needs. The car starts from half a crank, runs and drives exceptionally well, all accessories work (wipers/washer pump/lights/dash lamps/all exterior lights/dome light/heating and fan/original operational Kangol seat belts). Enhanced with a period correct Marshall 880 driving light and 1967 set of British license plates. It is a Morris Minor Traveller that is very honest and presents with character, performs great and can be enjoyed in it's current condition or taken to the next level if desired. I am an enthusiast who drives his cars all the time, the Minor can be driven in modern traffic at highway speeds with out any sacrifices or inconvenience. The car has all the leaks, drafts, patina, imperfections that belong to the Morris Minor's (and are quite usual for all British motorcars of the era). Comes with two keys, spare tire and an extra set of wheels. Additional photographs plus listed images in high res upon request. Will be happy to discuss in greater detail, send name and phone number if you wish to do so - serious buyers please - thanks! $1000 Deposit within 24 hours of close - full payment within 3 days of close (wire or bank check) - sold "as is" - private sale.

Motor Car Details Make 1 Morris Minor Mileage 7812 Model Traveler Exterior Color White Body 2 Door Wagon Interior Color Red Year 1960 Transmission 4 Speed Manual Engine 4 Cylinder 1000 Title Status Clear DESCRIPTION AND OTHER INFORMATION 1960 Morris Minor Traveller 2 Door "Woody" Estate Wagon For over 61 years I have been selling Rolls Royces and Bentleys, both new and preowned, and other great collectible motorcars. I still get excited when I come across a rare classic like this 1960 Morris 1000 Traveler. The Morris Minor was to England what the Volkswagen was the Germany. Its concept was to have a good motorcar that was affordable to everyone, which made the Minor the first British motorcar to sell over one million units and was exported globally. Very few left hand drive were built specifically for the USA market, over a 20 year period there were approx. 56,640 exported and only a limited amount are still on the road today. I bought this motorcar from a collector friend of mine who was the second owner and fully restored it a number of years ago. It is finished in a porcelain white non metallic with flawless varnished ash wood framing on the exterior and interior. The scarlet interior is like new as is the carpeting. It is fitted with the 948cc (57.9 cu in) A-series-I4 engine with a four speed manual transmission, which is a low maintenance gas saver. Can you imagine arriving to the country club with your golf clubs in the rear of this classic “Woody”. This moving work of art is for the true connoisseur who is looking to start a collection or add a rare find to their current collection. $ 26,900.00 For any Further Questions, Please Call 314-352-9100 Door to Door Nationwide and Worldwide Shipping Arrangements Available PICTURE 1PICTURE 2PICTURE 3PICTURE 4PICTURE 5PICTURE 6PICTURE 7PICTURE 8PICTURE 9PICTURE 10PICTURE 11PICTURE 12PICTURE 13PICTURE 14PICTURE 15PICTURE 16PICTURE 17PICTURE 18PICTURE 19PICTURE 20PICTURE 21PICTURE 22PICTURE 23PICTURE 24PICTURE 25PICTURE 26PICTURE 27PICTURE 28PICTURE 29PICTURE 30PICTURE 31PICTURE 32PICTURE 33PICTURE 34PICTURE 35PICTURE 36PICTURE 37PICTURE 38PICTURE 39PICTURE 40PICTURE 41PICTURE 42PICTURE 43PICTURE 44PICTURE 45 Terms of Payment Acceptable Forms of Payment: Certified check, cashiers check, or bank/wire transfer. The unreliable and underpowered drive train and lucas electrical system has been replaced with Datsun running gear and my own electrical system. Everything I did to car has about 34,000 miles on complete rebuilds and new parts. A14 engine 80 hp (mogee 948 had 37 hp) electronic ignition, single wire alternator and new weber carb. 63a series dogleg 5 speed overdrive brazed shift forks (rated 175 hp). New driveshaft. Rearend straightened and very rare 3.70 differential installed (mogee had 4.55). Rims are very rare Chevy Vega rims which were bead blasted, painted and clear coated. Brakes stock drums rear, MG front disc. Datsun dual reservoir power boost master cylinder (car has great braking). New radiator. Rear gas shock conversion. Front suspension rebuilt. Gas tank boiled out. Lucas electrical removed replaced with dual relay controlled mini fuse panels. Turn signal dual relay setup. Headlights relay controlled (bright lights). Honda leather full electric seats including electric lumbar control (extremely comfortable). Their size renders rear seat useful for packages etc. not for passengers. Gauges include speedo, gas, tach, vacuum, water temp, oil pressure, volts. Speedometer reads low because of trans swap. I reset needle to try and get it closer so it reads 10 mph standing still. 30 year old lacquer paint job is cracking from age which is normal, one of the pics shows the cracking. I call this paint job a 20 footer. The right side rear leaf spring perch has been repaired will last forever (pics). Both doors have been totally rebuilt everything new. Left windwing lever paddle broke off (pics) but still latches. Passenger side of lower windshield has a crack. New seals for rear glass, quarter glass, windshield glass and trunk are included with sale (I was waiting to paint car before installing, rear seal needs replaced paint job or not). Note seals install from the inside. Everything I have pertaining to this car will be boxed and put in trunk. Please look at all pictures closely and ask any questions you have, I may have missed something that is important to you. I will answer any and all questions. I’ve been retired for 3 years now, I drove this car for a year before retiring, to and from work (80 miles round trip) averaging 40 mpg in stop and go traffic ( I haven’t checked mpg with new weber setup which has about 10 miles on it) I’ve never had a problem with new setup (old mogee setup left me stranded on the side of the road more times than I’d like to remember). I just pulled this car out of storage, adjusted valve train and cleaned it up. Car runs, steers and stops great. With the over drive and 3.70 gears you can actually keep up with traffic on the freeway( example new setup 65 mph tachs around 2900 rpm, (old 948 setup ran around 4600 rpms and sounded like it was ready to explode). You can get in and drive this car without worrying about breakdowns, keeping up with traffic or having to push the brake pedal through the floor trying to get the car to stop. Over the years I’ve sold three of my cars on ebay and received great feed back.

I have owned this vehicle for two years. I purchased it in the UK and had it shipped to the states. The pickup is right hand drive and has a custom bed lined in wood. During the time I have owned it I have replaced many parts. Just a month ago I replaced the following items: new clutch and pressure plate, front and rear brake shoes and turned the drums ,new water pump and hoses, fan blade, radiator flushed and new thermostat ,speedometer cable, new battery and other miscellaneous parts. Truck runs well and is a real looker gets a lot of attention wherever you drive. I am selling the truck because I have too many vehicles to maintain.
