I am selling this car for my mother, it is her car. This car was begun by my step-father who unfortunately became ill before it was finished. A few of his friends, including an experienced mechanic, helped bring the car to its current state. I am a car/motorcycle/boat restorer myself however I was not personally involved in this restoration. Therefore I am evaluating the car as objectively as possible by what I can see for myself and the numerous pictures and receipts I have found. I also have a stack of pictures showing the car in its original condition when it was purchased and throughout the restoration. I estimate my step father spent well over 20K in hard costs on this restoration. It starts to add up fast...everything appears to be new or reconditioned on this car. Yeah, I know you never get your money back on a project like this...asking price reflects a deeply discounted estimate of this cars current and potential value when finished. You will have a truly excellent hot rod if you make the effort to take it to the finish line. What the car has: Fat Man Mustang II front end Chevy V8 crate motor Air Conditioning Sterio CD player New Everything: chrome, interior, rubber seals, glass, etc. etc. What the car needs: Custom exhaust fabricated and installed. Front end alignment. Typical "shake-down" & "break-in" associated with this kind of restoration. Paint. Looks great in the pictures but is far from show quality. Very difficult to capture flaws with this color, I recommend a re-spray. I strongly advise prospective buyers to come and view the car in person or have it evaluated by a local third party service. The car is for sale "as is" in Napa, CA. It can be driven only far enough to load it on a transport vehicle because it has no exhaust. We have a standing offer from a local collector, therefore all offers below 12,500 will be automatically declined. 1952 Henry J GasserAll steel and all glass is in car. Working driver and passenger windows.1970's 454 block. Built to 468 by Quest Racing. Chuck Nuytton Carb, aluminum Heads full roller motor. Turbo 400 trans, 9" rear. Coil over rear and strait axle up front. Disks up from drums in rear. Car was built to be a no nonsense mid to high 10 second nostalgia gasser. I have raced car over the past 8 years mostly in the Northeast only at nostalgia events. Have even won a few! Car is amazingly consistent and built to be maintenance free. I even run an alternator. Last raced NHRA hot rod Reunion at New England dragway fall of 2013. Car passed Tech no problem. New slicks only have 3 runs on them. Buy now and race tomorrow. Or spend $$ and put it on the street. Hey, you are looking at a very rare car here,, really great Gasser project, pro street, or just a hotrod,, needs floors (lil square tubing braces with old sheetmetal or aluminum sheeting works the best),rockers, some frame repair drivers side by door, (square tubing works the best),, Needs body work due to rust and dents on the body, you are buying just a rolling shell, no motor/tranny these are getting extremely rare to find with a trunk lid, great place for a feul cell and battery has back seat, it steers has original steering column and very nice wheel, glass is decent no title, comes with Mo. DMV bill of sale, they way i bought it you can buy all the parts for it on ebay (its 500 dollar deposit **non refundable** within 24 hours of auction close) thanxs for looking

This is a 1952 Henry J Cosair Deluxe it has a 6 cylinder engine. 3 speed trans original window 's and all rubber seal's. Newer seat upholstery and door panel's, hasn't ran in 10 years, though it probably wouldn't take much to get running. garage kept. It still has the factory rocker panel's and the floor in it is still in good shape. Contact for any questions. Local pickup only or you may pay for freight shipping.
