Built in the early post-WWII years as an amusement park ride, it combines a Crosley pickup truck with a long custom built fifth wheel "hook and ladder" trailer with benches down both sides and safety restraints shaped like fire fighters' ladders. Offered is a nice little 1951 Crosley Super Station Wagon. This is a running, driving, stopping fun little car. Once part of the Lemay Museum Collection in Washington State. It has had a simple partial restoration, will not win any fancy concours, but might win People's Choice! Recent new brakes, fuel pump, water pump, etc make it a steady runner. Shows some bondo on right rear fender, otherwise seems quite solid with good glass and nice instrument panel. Miles unknown, odometer shows 649 miles, might be since it was 'restored'. Original wheels and tires included, as is hood emblem (which I cannot find at the moment). These are hard to find this nice. Car located in Nevada City, CA, one hour from Sacramento, CA, 1.5 hours from Reno, NV. Happy to help facilitate long distance shipping, even overseas shipping, could deliver fairly locally. 1950 Crosley Station Wagon that has been converted to a Panel Wagon. Body work is almost complete. It is real close to ready for primer. New metal floor pans installed. All new glass. All 4 shocks are new. New gray interior. New steering wheel. Front seats have been changed. Rear seat needs recovering. New 5 gallon fuel cell installed. Also have a 10 gallon fuel cell that goes with it. New rebuilt starter. Radiator is like new. Motor purrs and runs great. Tires are in good shape. New stainless steel front and rear bumpers. I have driven up and down my street with no problems. Also have too many spare and extra parts to list. Also some New old stock parts. Does not come with Title...only Bill of Sale. For sale is a 1951 Crosley Convertible Sedan. This is a very rare car, with only 391 built. This is a restoration project that needs to be completed. The body is very straight and rust free. The paint looks fresh, but it needs to be cut an buffed. the convertible top looks new and is done well. The seats look like they may be original and are in good condition. The drivetrain looks complete, and the engine turns over by hand. There isn't a fuel pump on the engine, but there is a used one and a new one in the car. There are other parts in the car as well, including both window regulators, one door glass, one vent window, one windshield, new sill plates and various other pieces.
