1962 Acadian Beaumont. The Canadian version of the popular Chevy II Nova. Very rare and hard to find car in the southern part of the US!I've owned this car for close to 10 years now, and have gathered ALL the correct parts for this vehicle! Lots of work has been done to this caralready. Please read the whole description and all the details. Check all the pictures and be sure before bidding! It's a great little car that justneeds to be finished! Suspension: All front suspension is done! New ball joints, tie rods, tie rod ends, coil springs, shocks, 2" drop spindles with power disc brakes. Ford 9" 28 spline rear end with 3:70 gears and a mini spool. All new brakes front to rear. New rubber lines, etc.. Factory power steering still works great with no leaks! It was also a factory power brake car! Fuel System: New fuel tank and sending unit. Driveline: Still has the original 194 6 cylinder and 2 speed Powerglide in it. It does run and drive, but the carb is about shot. can be moved around the yard, or on and off a trailer. My plan was to V8 swap it. Have a Moroso 6qt oil pan and pickup tube in the trunk. Interior: All the upholstery is done and ready to go! Car still retains its original blue rubber floor mat, and blue padded dash! Original door panels, armrests, gauges, steering wheel, and seat vinyl still intact and in great shape! The seat cloth and headliner have been replaced. Also have a brand new package tray board and trunk divider board still in the plastic. All the factory gauges worked like a charm! Even the horn! Has a brand new AM/FM/CD/USB stereo head unit mounted. ABS plastic kick panels with built in speakers. Have all the wires run to the rear of car for a subwoofer and amp. Also set up for 2 6x9's in the package tray. Body: Body and structure of this little car is amazing! No floor pan rust whatsoever! Trunk pan is perfect! 95% of the exterior body is rust free! It does have the common areas all these cars get.. Lower fender corners, fenders right above the headlights need a little patching. Very, very minor! The lower quarter panels behind the rear wheels have a few minute holes popping up. Again, very minor! I do have a set of repop lower quarters that are included! Brand new Goodmark steel cowl hood. All the trim for the car is present and in great shape! I have a matching pair of 1962 Ontario Canada license plates for it. EVEN HAVE A GALLON OF NASSAU BLUE PAINT! Included of course.. Glass: NO broken glass! all side glass clear and crack free! All roll up and down effortlessly! Original window felts and door rubbers are still there, and could use replacing after painted. Rear window was removed and the seal replaced while the headliner was being done. The windshield has a few rock pecks and scratches, but hey.. I've got a brand new windshield and seal to go in it as well. (included, of course.) Wheels/Tires: 15x4 Corvette style Rally wheels on the front. Have 2, 15x6 universal bolt circle Corvette style Rally wheels in the trunk. Universal lug pattern due to the rear having the Ford 5 on 4 1/2" bolt circle. Rear wheels on the car are pretty much rollers. No trim rings or center caps are included. Electrical: No issues whatsoever! All lights, signals, gauges work as they should. Horn works. Even the backup lights worked before I removed them to start bodywork. I have tried to describe the car to the best of my knowledge. It's a great little car! I just have too many projects ahead of this one and I don't want it toruin before I get to it. Car is set up, just needs a good V8 stuck in it! Any questions, feel free to ask me! I will reply to questions as soon as possible! Just a reminder.. It does run, but really can't be driven due to the carbbeing bad. Leaks badly.. Winning bidder will need to Paypal a non-refundable deposit of $500 within 48 hours of auction end to secure the vehicle. remaining balance will bepaid in cash upon pickup. No personal checks will be accepted. I can be flexible as far as pickup goes. I can't be responsible for delivery, but will help any way possible. A pickup time can be negotiated, but let's berealistic on how long it sits here. The clear NC title (in my name) and all keys will be handed over when payment is complete. Thanks for looking! Happy Bidding! On Sep-30-15 at 05:25:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Also: I do have the front bumper. A custom fit car cover. The bumper jack is still in the trunk! On Oct-01-15 at 05:55:08 PDT, seller added the following information: There is a very humble reserve set for this vehicle, considering the rarity, condition, time, money already spent thus far. Who knows? I may lower or completely drop the reserve when it gets close! But the car will NOT be gave away for $2500! So if you're looking to get something for nothing, you might as well look elsewhere. Just added due to the continuous questions of "How much", & " What's your reserve/bottom dollar".On Oct-05-15 at 13:27:25 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had a few questions asking if this is a converted Chevy II.. The answer is no. It is 100% Acadian! Doesn't say or mention Chevrolet anywhere on the car. VIN tag says "GM of Canada", as does most everything else. The NC title even says " Acadian".
